I think you need to check your stock runs. If you cut them thinking the 0 gauge was enough, you could have possibly cut the lead to your starter.

You aren't the only one. I have had so many issues. Between last years build, and this years rebuild I have spent thousands fixing and replacing all kinds of stuff. You need the cash on your ass to have the bass in your face.

There is a number of reasons people use signal enhancing devices. Some serve as cross overs, some serve as line drivers, and some are just pointless. It really just depends on the application.
