  7. ok guys heres the deal i was thinking of trying to go to some localish iasca competitions. i have never competed before and was wondering for the first class its 1-160 sq in. so my basic question is do i want 1 12inch zcon (113.4 sq in.) or should i go with 2 10 inch xcons (157sq in.) my thought is with the 2 10 inch xcons (1 ohm) on a saz3500 both would be in the biggest box that will fit my trunk tuned to 34hz all the math works out but i just wanted to know if i was on the right track before i spend like 2 grand then have it be the wrong set up to compete. any input would be nice but if you are /was in this class tips would help any more info needed just ask (sorry but i never planed anything like this before)
  8. fix the dd and sell the zcon to me but on a more serious note i love that box is it specs for the dd or zcon?

  11. chicken are you planing the same build as me? im going with ssa zcon 15 and saz 2500. just cause of the sq / spl hard to find both in the same sub. made in USA is an added bonus. just my 2 cents. good luck on the build we want pics.

  13. Well its only a alpine m1000powering the sub so I might be ok for a while (alpine over rates their stuff). Guess its time to start saving for a z12 ;-)
  14. As the topic says I just got my first SD12 and had 2 questions First: rms is 500 watts is that total or per coil? Second: do I have to break the sub in or just fire it up and go to town? Thx for the input guys
