Never used a Gcon. But I'm sure SSA subs are good quality since they're made by the same company that made my BTL's I do have hands with SA12's and I can tell you without a doubt its a great sub for the money.

You could also try what they do on F bodies and duct from the bottom. They have a small pick up on the bottom behind the bumper to cool all the coolers. They work great!

what's your voltage drop? rising to 1.9 means each amp is close to 1ohm. You should be doing more than 3500 per amp..... Unless these are the old ones? Could have popped a lead too.

I "won" some alpha damp. full review coming soon. So far, its difficult to deal with, adhesive works great, could be thicker, already noticed a diff in temperature inside the car without putting the headliner back in.
