Finally got it all out . Was a bitch to do lol . . . . Had to get it out like an inch piece of coil at a time

I dont even understand how it happen . . The subs were supposed to be refurbished by american bass and this happened within like 5 mins of playing . Wasnt clipping and didnt get a bit warm. . . Just popped and I looked and there was pretty much no coil left on the former . . Cut open the sub and pulled the cone and shit out and like half the former is all chewed up looking and all the coil wire is down in the gap of the motor

Has anyone had alot of coil stuck down in the motor gap before? . . Have a customer that im doing a recone for and almost all of the coil is way down in the gap. . . Just seeing if anyone has any advice on how to get it out . Iv got a little out but just coming out in little pieces . . Its an american bass hd by the way

It still messes up with me . Pretty much cant quote a comment or shit messes up . . . Befor all the changes this site worked way better

I dont think I would go with a sealed enclosure if your trying to get crazy low and wanting to get loud

Yea it gets into the negatives in the winter and over 100 sometimes in the summer here and iv ran zcons since right after they came out and never had problems . . Wonder what caused the issues? . Hopefully it was just a freak thing

Ill be detailing my first car at the shop this weekend so ill be keeping an eye on this thread . . What do most places charge for detailing a whole car. Inside and out?

If my plug on my car that hooks to my stock alt has 3 wires am I able to use an alt that has a 2 wire plug somehow? . Im able to use my 300 amp ohio gen from my van on my sable with just small modifications but the plugs are different

And when I had the 18s in my van on the 2 2500s you could tell they could take so much more . . Didnt get hot and were forsure were not moving as much as they can

They can take ALOT . . Im sure they wont be seeing 10k anyway . . Ran 3500 to one zcon years ago for over a year beating the shit out of it with no problems

Started getting the car ready for the build . Got the rear and front seats out . . About to start somewhat of a frame for the wall within the next couple days

The xcon is amazing. Iv done a couple installs with xcons. Definitely wouldnt be disappointed. but I would forsure worry about your vehicle first. No point In Having an xcon if your vehicle brakes down

In my experience 26 to 30 will make a pretty decent difference in a car . I would shoot for closer to 30

When I first did some a pillars I had them at the top of the pillars and didnt really like them . Tried them down wedged in where the a pillars and dash meet and sounded alot better . . . . Guess its going to depend on which ones I get. What size they are . Yea im pretty much just looking for loud with this build. I just hate when shit is harsh. Like ear piercing . . . . . Not going for anything crazy sound quality but just Want to be able to hear the front stage while playing the subs loud with not sounding distorted or anything
