Yea looks brand new. . . . Dude I got it from fried the leads (LIKE SO MANY PEOPLE DO FOR SOME REASON lol)(and within a month of getting it). . every lead fried about half an inch from the coil (around the first "dip" in the spider) . . . . So I'm thinking I could maybe try to solder new leads on. And if anything doesn't work out I would just be in the same boat I'm in now with just a motor to sell or recone. . . .

I would try the stock alt. Again to make sure. . . . Mite just be the alt. . . I have ordered an alt that didnt work right right out of the box and had to get a replacement

Did you just add the big 3 or did you replace any stock wires?. . . . . And yea like above, what alt did you get? And have you tried putting the stock alt back in to see if the problem stays?

low power / bigger enclosure, high power / smaller enclosure and you my friend will have a decent amount of power on tap for that copper 15.. obviously the bigger box is more efficient, but which setup would be the loudest or get more spl?I wouldn't really say that. . . . And really noone will be able to tell you what will be the "best" . And people who have said certain things will be the "best" for you. You probably shouldn't listen to them......... there is just so many things that can make differences. ................. and do you really mean you want your system aimed toward spl or are you wanting to be "LOUD" because there is a pretty big difference to being loud to the ear and loud on the meter. . .

Peaks is determined by what the vehicle likes, no? I have had different peaks with different amounts of power in vehicles I have had. Could just be me lol. . . . . But I know in a couple different vehicles iv had did. . . . . . Like if you check your peak with your volume not up much at all then check it at full tilt. Iv had different peaks.

Had the same problem (caused a couple blowouts) . . . 100s of extra lbs are not to good for a vehicle lol. . . . Had around 800 lbs in my trunk. . I'm sure you got a little more than that though lol

I was there when the guy got that recone from ssa. (Used to be an 18 but he wanted 2 15 so ordered a 15" recone and another 15" xcon and the recone was like that and the sub had the full dust cap)
