Its counter top grade partical... I had a box made out of this stuff that lasted 7 years. I also get it at cost from a friend. About half the price of MDF. And works good for what im doing. But hey glad you guys are watching out for me. Loving the Sub though.. Cant wait to get good power to it and get it metered. Sound quality is like nothing I have ever heard before.

Thought it was fitting being I am covering the box in real tree.... and yes partical board.. cheap easy to work with I have less then 50.00 in the box as it sits. Saving the good stuff for when I figure out the exact tuning I want to run.

Well looks like I will be trying to pick up a AudioQue 2200d to power it next week.. Should be building the Box tomorrow truck is coming along. I needs a lot of work still just on the truck its self let alone the system. Pics coming soon. Building the Optimal Ported box recommend by SSA. Even picked up a new Pioneer head unit for it. And 0/1 guage wire. Few new batterys and my 250amp alternator and im good to go.

Well just thought I would introduce myself.. Tony is the name Redneck audio is the team.. Just picked up my first SSA Xcon 18 today really impressed so far. Its going in a big green ugly truck. Plan on pushing it with a AP1800. Building the Box to the Vented Specs from SSA. It has V2 Nightshade terminals on it that fit 8 guage. Cant wait to get it running.
