there are alot of people who run that much if not more for every day use, not mine but this set up is for someone else. i did talk him down in power he should have 3200 +/-

the Maximus is $1600 and the xxv Colossus are 625 an amp and are tested to do 1901 rms a ch at 12 volts. i think im going to talk him into the xxv colossus so it will match the xxv 4 ch.

thanks for the help nick j/k the most i have seen someone run was 4000 (besides meade) i told the guy that might be a little high for everyday use. im going to see if i can talk him down a little on the power just to be on the safe side.

i have a guy that wants me to do a wall install in a 2004 sunfirefor 2 btl 15's or 18's. im going to have the wall on the smaller side so it can take a little more power but do you guys think 2 btl's can take a xx-maxximus (last years) for everyday use??? or would he be better off with 2 xxv-Colossus (new ones)??

or why not 4 q 12's and 2 kicker 2500's

i would go with the 4 Q's thats the only set up your going to push the sub's, unless you plan to upgrade the power then ill go with the bl's

i looked at all 9 paged but i didn't see anything. with the 07's do they have the imputs on the side? if so does anyone know if i can pick up a new set of the older one's with them on the bottom?

if i was you i would run a ported box it will give you more output and sound about the same.

im thinking about picking 2 up, each will be at a .7 load (before rise) does anyone have a real world spec's on them and where is a good place to pick them up?

im looking for 3-4000 watts its going to be for 2 btl or bl's 2+2 coils. im re-modleing my house right now so cash is kinda tight im looking at 2 pca 2000D's, 2 autotec 2000D's or 2 bxi 2006's what do you guys think i should get? or if anyone has a hook up that will work let me know.

i just got my subs back today from re-cones/upgrades (Scott's older work), they look great i can't Wait to hook them up. Scott helped me with alot of e-mails over the past few months about my sub's and i tell everyone about them. i was the first one in md with re and got Paul carmikle (spelling) hooked on them, he couldn't be live a sub that cost that much sounded that good. long store shot he got 5Th at the db drag world finals in street B 3-4 years ago when not that many people new about them. fi has also done alot to help show's etc. from my understanding they help sponsor a show in MD over the weekend. fi audio still supports the sport and cares for the customers.
