i think i talked to you on car audio.com but i'm cutting a box at 6.4 cube box. im using the calculator on re audio but my brother claims the port part of the calculator is off. does anybody know of a different calculator? most of the calc's are a little different PORT Size Calculations and Formulas for WOOFER and Subwoofer BOXES

well I would figure out how you lost and in what class? 139 from 4 15's in spl is crap now in bassrace thats a different story there is more to bassrace then you know you want to have some fun ditch the show in the springs and come on down to the summerjam show at cartoys. should be around 50 cars and lots to learn

this show is not dbdrag and its best to play test tones if you want to get the top score from your system

I've burped mine .25 each on 12 volt but they dont like music that low.I have heard that some people run them down to .5 each daily with good electrical.bad ass amp's i gained 2+ dbs going from 1 ohm to .25 ohm

No battery? My D2400 is my starting battery. I need another D2400 though in order to run another 1500. i burped 2 3000's @ .5 ohm each off one nsb90 under my hood!! I just want to be decent for everyday driving too. I hope 145+ alt and two D2400s is ok to run two 1500 at 2 ohm (1ohm each amp). that should do the trick but I would get them down to .5 each

I just want to make sure my electrical is up to par for two. Yeah though thats the plan get another D2400 and another 1500, and ad244 alt. they might be posting a tl score but there is a big differnce where and how you make the score. most usaci people build different then dbdrag people a guy in usac can bang a 160+ but sealed on the dash cant do but a 153

X2 TL mic or your score didnt happen. a score is a score but when on the old ac 180 it sux shoot just last friday i did a 159.1 on the ac took down a 6 footer but on the tl it will do a 154.2 sealed on the dash and like a 155.? outlaw.

just kidding ok when posting DB numbers you should post what mic it was on and how you metered (sealed on the dash or outlaw) seeing all these people doing 155+ make's me cry till i find out it was on the ac mic with the door open LOL

yes and no on the 15s I did a 153.7 with 2 9515s and 2 3000s with zero testing but look at that 155 with 12's lol numbers dont lie do they

ok i just got a 40.1 used and I powered it up with no rca's and no load power light.so i hook up rca's and volt meter to gain match and it is in protect. so i unhook everything drain the caps with test light hook it back up and still in protect.then i turn the gain and notice when you wiggle the gain the power light come's on.so i hook up the multi and the amp has output voltage with the protect light on. so my question is is this amp in protect or is it working? should there be a out put voltage with it in protect? my other 40.1 has the same voltage as the one with the protect light. has anyone else seen this problem? i have the amps stacked with carpet between them sitting on a peice of mdf. powered by 2 100lb batt's floating @ 13.8. the amp is grounded on the battery and battery's grounded to the frame. any help would be great thanx
