wow this suck's dropped in my second 3000'd strapped @ 1ohm and only gained 1 db so now I'm doing a 151.7 wish i knew were my lost db went i would be up to 152.7. anyway's lot's-o-work ahead now

it was only 142???? WTF???? I had to play some kinda gay cd they had. The judge made me playing at 58Hz my box is tuned to 34hz in a SUV I think 45hz would have been better a guy that own a big audio shop here with $10,000 setup in my class only beat me out by a couple db's I know I should hit around 150~152, but the CD they made me play I didnt like it. My box is tuned at 34hz. I'm louder playing Young Geezy. Plus they tested at the footrest. my first comp, and I'll get better. they can't make you play 58 hrtz.are you sure they did'nt suggest it? because on the term-lab mic they can tell you what frequenzy to play for the loudest score. once you get some testing under your belt come back and tell us how you are doing. I'm riding to Ricky H's place soon to let him help me get ready for another comp soon

well i got 2 + 2- hooked to it @ .35ohm's and got it to do a 150.8 but still is protect happy. so more wire in the next few week's when I find time. i think with 4+4- to each 3000 it might hold up to a full tilt burp and not a slow roll

very nice hopfully with more wire i can get my number's were they should be. and my 2nd 3000 should be here next week

Hmmm... that is an interesting one, other drop-ins have produced similar scores. well i might be choking the amp! so more wire and buss bar's in the back is the next thing. then i think when i get the other 3000 i'm going to do a false floor with the 3000's under glass. did you get my PM jacob?

well i just driopped my 3000 in and lost 1 db. I did a 150.7 with 1500's @ 1ohm strapped and can't get to a 150 with the 3000 @ .35 ohm. I need to make some change's and we will see if I can get it back up there

what you have listed is more then plenty for 1 3000d @ 1/2 ohm. most people don't drive around with there system @ full volume anyways

well got my first one today and i will see what it can do @ .35ohm vs 2 1500's strapped @1ohm. then the other should be here next week sometime and will see what happen's with them strapped @ 1ohm. running 1 nsb-90 with 2 9510's in my crx

some amp's do have problems with that. a friend of mine had is z1 burn up because there was no woofer's hooked to it! BUT the older z1's had that problem. do you want to find out if your's has it???

well since some of the team member's have them what is the good word? what ohm you running? voltage? test's result's from amp swap's? any problem's? burp or roll? my first one should be here next week and I want to get ahead of the game.

well it's 3/4 thick and I need to make 3 cut's hopfully. if it come's to that my arm will be tired! LOL

well these are scrap's so no square end! I can make a miter box but i would still have to roll the tube for complete cut and take the chance of a messed up cut. and i'm not cuting it with a hand saw either. guess i will do what it take's

I'd try the outside...when do you ever see the wire inside the terminal anyway? You're making it harder on yourself by trimming the inside. how is it hard to peel the wire like a banana and trim the inside? looks cleaner and work's better I take a small deep well socket or bic pen and twist it into the center of the wire and peel the rest away and then trim the wire.

the best way i found to trim wire is from the inside so the out side don't look like crap.

let's bow are head's for a second of silence! the z1 is no longer it blew up with out even being hooked to woofer's. he said it burned up while he was driving down the block. wow glad i did'nt borrow it from him
