  2. Holy Disapearing posts! That was like magic.... LOL.... my computer spit back some error when I went to refresh it and now I see why........delete!
  3. Actually I have to give the guy some credit, it shows 12:44pm if you put your mouse over his name, so that means that the forum software shows he is reading it, but hasn't stepped in again since he posted it at 12:44pm. At least that's the time it shows for my time zone settings, so you guys be nice.....my bad......
  4. What's worse is at the bottom of the screen where it shows who is reading this topic, it shows the guy is reading it, but is not responding for some reason. Go Figure. Dude if you really have a problem, just pick up the phone and call, it works, I am sure because I just got off the phone with another customer. I need to get back to work....
  5. I know, this whole thing just sounds stupid. And no, it won't sway anyone. Then again, a few less phone calls a day would be nice....? nah just kidding....
  6. I went and look at his posts, on this forum, and he has mentioned it in threads before, but this is NOT dB-r's forum, this is Sundown Audio and SSA's forum, and I don't expect Jacob to forward me an email link to threads on here anytime someone is trying to contact me here. I hardly ever come here. I don't have time, we are busy as hell, always. Giving the guy an invoice isn't a problem, I don't recall him asking for one, maybe he did a LONG time ago, like 6 months to a year, and I forgot, but all he had to do was remind me, as I said we are busy here. Would be nice to give every single customer all the attention in the world, but we just can't do it, this is a busy shop, with phones ringing off the wall all day long every day, responding to 50-150 emails a day, and trying to do work on the bench at the same time....
  7. And second of all if anyone else is reading this, I come to this forum, MAYBE once a week for a few mins, sometimes I might go a month without even coming here. So this is not the place to contact me, not here in threads, and not in PM's either. If you need something bad, call us (281-454-9496), if you don't need it that bad, then just email us [email protected].
  8. Your emails must be going to the spam folder, I haven't seen them. And I don't recall any voicemails left or any other mention of this until now. Sending you an Invoice isn't a problem. You need to call here if all else fails, we have changed phone numbers in the last 6 months, back in March, we got a new phone number, it is 281-454-9496.
  9. UPS NEVER pays an insurance claim over $300 without taking them to court. I tell people this all the time and they never believe me... dB-r NEVER pays for insurance on a shipment because we know they do not pay, instead we pack well. If the customer doesn't pack it well enough when they send it here, we pack it extra well before shipping it out and sometimes charge the customer extra for it. NOW, if you go to a shipper place, like the UPS Store, and pay them to package it, and pay for insurance, they MAY pay the claim if it gets broken because even if it wasn't packed well enough, that's UPS or the Store Employees fault, not your fault at all. However if over $300 I wouldn't be suprized if they still made you take them to court to get payment.... Bastards... FedEx on the other hand, while I cannot stand our local lazy ass POS FedEx driver, he is a lazy bastard, won't even get out of the truck, likes to hand big ass 40+lb packages through the little window.... they have never done much damage to anything shipped here that I can remember, it's always UPS or the US PS that does the damage in my area.... We use UPS exclusively, but we pack well to prevent problems and have not had any major problems in a long while shipping with UPS.
  10. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^? Mounting depth?
  11. We still have these five Opti 1000.1D's. They are like the amps in the pics above, but are 1000.1D's, other than that they look just like them. They are very heavy, well built, and in very good cosmetic condition, for their age, most would consider excellent cosmetic condition. If you are interested email me [email protected]. I just never put them back up the online store as we had planned on selling them in our local retail store, but haven't got that store open yet so they are still here.

Buy it, we can fix it. No matter what is wrong with it. $225-$300 (we lowered the peak price some because we are buying the parts a little cheaper right now, subject to increase if parts prices increase).
  13. Car Audio > Economy The slow economy will just "weed out" the crappy companies and those who don't keep their overhead low. Unfortunately may also weed out some GOOD companies that are operating primarily based on credit, so there maybe some good companies that go belly up too, despite a good product, but I definately expect ALOT of the Car Audio companies that are out there now to not survive, this will reduce your choices in what gear to buy new, but there will be plenty of used stuff out there and dB-r (with our low overhead) will still be around to make it good as new for you guys. And of course we will still be dealing with Sundown Audio so you can get good stuff NEW also. does ANYONE have a real picture of the inside of this thing (SAZ-3500D)? There has to be a prototype somewhere, does it not look like the build model so noone has posted the pic? I just need something other than the drawing of the inside to make a web page for the pre-sale on our store. I know someone has been testing the prototype and if it at least looks somewhat like the final build model on the inside I would like a copy of the pic. Will note on the page that it is the prototype and point out any differences there may end up being with the final product.

We sure do, would love to sell them to you guys... We sold a bunch on January but still have a bunch for sale.
  15. We still have 3 availible.
  16. That's awesome. To make a point in line with the original posting question, 2 x SAZ-3000D will yield anywhere from 1000-2000 more watts at any given voltage than 2 x BXI2607's or whatever the model is of the 2600 watt HiFonics amps you were asking about so, yeah, you made the right choice. You will need to double your box with another layer of material. The BTL's will literally push the box apart and if you don't use good screws or bolts to secure the subwoofer to the baffle it will break the heads off the mounting screws....
  17. No Prob. Thanks for purchasing with us. Thanks Jacob for answering those questions.
  18. We have and will have for a little while, SAZ-3000D Refurbs for those who are too late getting their cash together for this spectacular sale. The Refurbs prices are roughly the same as these sale prices for new ones! I would strongly advise to hurry so you can a good deal on a new one solely because of the 2 year warranty on new SAZ-3000D's vs the 1 Year we offer on the Refurbs.
  19. Just wanted to mention here that we DO have 3 SAZ-1500D Refurbished Availible. All 3 are New Heatsink Style and A-Stock. We also have a couple SAX-100.4's. Older Style, New Style, and Revision D Refurbished also. Chris dB-r Electronics
  20. Oh, also we are opening up a local audio shop in Hempstead TX. Will be selling Sundown New and Refurbished, and Incriminator Audio products, New and Refurbished at that store. As well as others as we go along the way with this new venture. We will be selling those non-Sundown rebuilt amps (like the ones that were in our old store) at this local shop. We will probably list them onlne and have them in the store as well, just haven't gotten to it yet. Been extremely busy.
  21. Well our Online Store got a facelift, we still have a couple other projects. The MAIN website needs a rebuild, don't have time to do it at the moment, time s always our biggest problem here.... We also have a "trouble ticket system" online that we need to get going which we will be using to handle customer service rather than using the phone or email, which has been a total nightmare (phone and emails are disorganized, hard to dig through, things get forgotten etc) so we have this new Customer Service System (trouble ticket system) which should work from Cell Phone browsers too, not completely sure yet, anyone have one of those so-called "web enabled" phones like the iPhone or G1 and want to test it out for us? Give me an email [email protected] and I will send you the link to the new system to test it from your phone. In the meantime, yes, we finally got a new store software going. The new store has the following features that the old one didn't: Inventory Sale Makers, Discount Coupons, quantity discounts etc... Shipping calculators Credit Card processing directly from store site via secure https server Newsletters, Sale ads, etc etc... A few more features we haven't quite figured out yet, but anyway it's ALOT better, yes than the old store was. Chris dB-r Electronics

Would not be strange for it to blow an 80 amp fused if it was cranked up loud, even at 2 ohms I don't really think... may still blow an 80 if you got little impedance rise. WOULD be strange to blow the fuse when you turn the amp on... should in no-way blow an 80 amp fuse during startup.... Shouldn't even blow a 20-30 amp unless it was seriously cold when you started it... Send it in, we will determine the cause of your woes....
