  1. This would be your best option IF you have to use walmart and your budget is 100 http://www.walmart.com/ip/EverStart-Maxx-Group-Size-29-Marine-Battery/20531539#Q%26A+Exchange
  2. Damn fine work Alton!

  6. You sir just became the mod of all mods! love it
  7. Why thank you. June 8th it will be even more. Do tell
  8. Are you serious?? I thought the whole idea of car audio batteries was high ah ratings. Jeez I obviously need to quit or do years more research! *In no way shape form or fashion is this directed at you Julian, I just honestly had NO clue the ah rating wasn't the main factor in car audio smh
  9. I was thinking this too. Are there any specific things I could check?
  10. it stays in 13s MOST of the time but not always as I would like. yes, voltage at alt is 14.0 voltage at front battery 14.0 voltage at back battery 13.9 I have not measured them at full tilt but I will today. Thanks everyone, especially pm, for explaining im maxing my one run out, makes perfect sense. Edit-some songs DO take it down below 12v....
  11. Just one run front to back. Never dreamed I would need more with no voltage drop...
  12. Thanks pm, that's what I was looking for. The volt meter is hooked up to the rear battery that both amps are connected to. I have almost literally zero voltage drop from front to back so I know that's good.
  13. The way i done mine was ground alt to battery which is grounded to frame
  14. Its a 35a battery. pretty small. spv35 maybe?
  15. Cant wait to see how it works out. keep us posted man.
  16. Or will it always dip to low 12s without a 300+ amp alternator?
  17. I guess i should have said i am definatly adding another platinum to rear I just wondered if voltage would stay in 13s theoretically
  18. Ken, have you seen or heard any c pillar walls? I thought about it myself but have never seen or heard of them.
  19. That is while driving so idled up I would say. Two Fosgate T1500bdcp ran at 2 ohm each and a Fosgate P800x4 on highs Yes my grounds are good and alternator is grounded.
  20. I put my mechman 240a alt on and have a group 65 diehard platinum under hood and small stinger in back. when playing full tilt on heavy bass im seeing low 12s. If i add another big plat in the back will this keep my voltage in the 13s or will it still drop to 12s as that's what the batteries rest at? this may be stupid question but none the less i am curious.
  21. ^^Listen to this OP. As stated before, you need to change your box before blowing money on amps....will make a much bigger difference than just replacing amps.
  22. Thanks all! question is answered. I will be ordering from monoprice or knu, depending on shipping time
  23. Will do shizzon, thanks for your time
  24. Thanks pm, does the shielding make any difference at all really?
  25. Thanks guys. That's not TOO bad of a price on that knuconcepts wire. Shizzon is their wire ofc and of correct size?
