  1. lol, u all will like this one, hehe... XS Power.. We're louder on the load tester or XS Power.. duh! lol
  2. Are u serious? Why can't you just select all of them and right click, hit properties and LOOK and see how much space it is using.
  3. Then quit watchin sub porn
  4. hehe, the cool thing about accessing music through DATA is there is no audible difference based on how the music is stored digitally on a hard drive.
  5. XS Power, The standard for today's eXtreme AGM batteries. or XS Power, setting the standard for today's eXtreme AGM Batteries. or XS Power, setting the standard for today's eXtreme batteries.
  6. You are asking the question WAY wrong. Sandisk is a manufacturer that makes flash media and drives. As a storage device, you can store ANY type of file as long as the disk structure is formatted for such use. In your case, wma files can be stored on any modern file system. It's not up to the storage device but rather can your headunit support WMA? Something else you need to keep in mind- Some headunits are VERY picky about HD flash media. HD or HC stands for High Density or High Capacity. I believe 8GB and larger falls under this category. Typical name for this on retailer sites is= SDHC. Contact manufacturer or read manual for maximum suggested media size and what formats are supported for your head unit.
  7. What is the current slogan? knowin me i'll say one that's currently in use and be called Mr Redundant.
  8. haha, u just can't wait, can you
  9. currently being taken care of in the chat..
  10. since u are still here.. LET ME POST THIS as a last resort.. www.partsexpress.com Go to pro audio, choose a size and read... Stay on there for a while.. then come back and beg for mercy, hehe.
  11. those bastards.. let me contact Scott.. I'm sure we can glue 3 extra inches onto the 18s for a special build just for you, lol.
  12. they have a 45,000w amp too but unless you meet their standards.. u can just sit there and drool all you want because they are very picky at who qualifies to run their equipment.
  13. well.. at this rate, i guess i'm gonna build a 4th order wall with 120 tweeters.. Hopefully, just hopefully i may be able to do a 100db @100hz on the meter..
  14. I think ranting in a controlled thread will relieve some of our views on what we see every now and then.. I can honestly say i feel surprised when i can look at multiple forums in a single day and not roll my eyes at some of the ways people express things.... I was talking about this in the chat last night.. APPARENTLY.. there is a new wording fad going around right now that is so freakin annoying... Everybody has seen this.. so let me give us another headache by reading it again. I'm just gonna make up equipment so it doesn't look like i'm pointing fingers. 4 FI Bls VS Hifonics Sampson (8,000wrms) Well.. let's see, first off.. YOU CANNOT COMPARE THESE TWO PRODUCTS AS THEY WORK TOGETHER! Jesus Christ.. duh! That be like XS Power making a youtube video called- XS D3100s VS voltage drop What the hell is that suppose to mean? If you want a true comparison, compare like products, LIKE PRODUCTS. You wouldn't be in real estate and go to a showing and the sign out front says- House vs garage $134,000 Now would you?
  15. 2 sundown 4500ds.. or 2 AB 500.1s.. or 2 crescendo 5500ds.. or 2 dc 5ks.. or 2 Cactus 5ks.. Whatever you are familiar with.. that is what is being ran, lol
  16. do u have like 36 spiders on those subs? those things are barely movin with that power
  17. um, negative... He wants to use them as midRANGE, not midBASS.. If we are understanding his intentions properly.. he wants to use comps as a filler so his audible range can transition from sub to tweeter... lol.. car subs are not going to do it... Woofers will work.. but not sub woofers.
  18. what i was meaning in the pm the other day was adding wood to a layer of wood does minimal bracing UNLESS it's at least anchored to an adjacent piece. Examples- Window bracing. This technique is anchoring bracing to 4 walls all together with one piece. Now lets take your pic above.. Lets say your baffle "was" flexing and you want to reduce it... Well, just adding that wood figure on the back of it may help a little, slightly though. Think about it- If the baffle still flexes, it is moving whatever is attached with it.. get it? Now what if you took the added wood behind the baffle and secured it to the side walls? When the baffle tries to flex... guess what.. the side walls are going to restrict movement when the baffle is trying to move in and out..
  19. yea, his install design may be in the right direction but his equipment choices are way off again... Let me call Kryptonite white, he'll know what to do!
  20. if i'm not mistaken they won't let users run custom music anymore for park n pound, right? Go back and read the rules.. i think they don't like me helping other people, lol.
  21. either that or he misunderstood the guidance. Point us to the thread that gave u the idea of doing this
  22. we always have Deka and Superstart.. they go retail pretty much anywhere for ~$220 after taxes and core charges.. I'm just waiting for XS to grab some more batts.. Deka being one of them... I know the Deka isn't on par with a D3100 but i just wanna see if it beat the other 2 that was originally tested. In case some of you may not know, Superstart and Deka are both made by East Penn. Superstart 31T is sold by O Reillys Deka 9A31 is sold here in there, just have to ask around.
  23. i also noticed something to with this battery company that may have lost some credibility.... 2 things actually- 1- Their cycle life chart compared to Stingers is almost 50% less life! Tempest 100% dod= ~215 cycles Stinger 100% dod= 400 cycles Tempest 50% dod= ~440 cycles Stinger 50% dod= 800 cycles and 2- Why the hell is their 65aH battery have a stronger discharge(can hold higher voltage) then their 70, 75 and 80aH battery? uhh.. i'm almost tired of calling them about silly stuff like this. The cycle life alone is enough to make me question their reputation because in my app.. low cycle life is one of the worst choices i can make.
  24. i don't have them in front of me.. hehe But based on their test chart vs XS's test.. The D3100 dropped to 10.9v after 30sec on 500A the TR140 drops to ~11.45v after 30sec on 450A And trust me.. adding 50A isn't gonna made any measurable difference at that level. I am still trying to find a way to get these in my car but like i said, i have very limited space and XS i know will suit me fine.. it's challenging to try and fit these in my car..
  25. Looks like i'll have to get you something.. like a box design or somethin..
