for $80, i just picked up a pair of headphones.. U can do that. I needed some bad so i didnt have to keep listening to the music on surround sound.

lol, u cant play these songs on pc speakers... The majority of songs made only goes up to ~38hz on high amplitude. Any higher note, the amplitude is backed off. Some songs drop below 15hz... but very very very few...

Since i don't know every single song in the world, you can help me help you. Since the cd was such a hit, i need\want more music. So, post in here what you'd like to hear modified... I'll listen to it quite a few times and if i get that rhythm in my head for the song, then i'll do it, otherwise i will not. I can't guarantee i can do any song because some songs will sound bad with basslines in them.. Currently some ones i'm lookin into- AC DC- Thunderstruck Billy Squier - The Stroke It doesn't matter what genre it is.. even if it already has tons of bass in it, if u think it can sound better, post it here.

r u sure? Have u confirmed the gain is turned CLOCKWISE.. from left to right? Also, just for shits n giggles, lets open this amp up FULLY to see if it's user error- Take gain, turn it ALL the way to the right,. Subsonic filter - ALL the way to the LEFT. Low pass filter- ALL the way to the RIGHT. Remote gain controller - unplug it! Play a song at volume 1 and gradually keep turning it up. DO NOT TURN UP TOO LOUD! IF and once u notice more bass is being produced at an exceptional level in SPL compared to now, STOP and turn down or off. Because i have just told u how to run ur amp wide open, u can possibly kill your sub by playing too loud.. This is just to test user error.

check to make sure sub preout setting on headunit is turned up. It sounds like it's at least turned on.' Is the remote gain controller plugged in? If it is, the GAIN on the amp needs to be turned up around 75-85% of the way up. this is the master GAIN controller, the one on the amp. Now start to turn the gain up on the remote control, it will keep getting louder.

ok that was a long 40min, lol. They audibly play down to 9hz and i'm not the only one to confirm that. We tested them down to 5hz even though they are rated down to 4hz. Anything below 9hz is just mechanics. So, these headphones win in the bass area. I'm gonna listen to some music on them now and see how they are overall.. I can go ahead and say they are VERY comfortable. They have so much padding on the ear, it's ridiculous.

Jjust bought those sonys u told me bout. I'm gonna go listen to them in bout 40min on music below 25hz and see how they performed un-amped

You could go with the ones i have. They are bigger but better.. Around 3" wide, 1" thick, 1.5" tall. What's good about them is they change brightness at night so u don't go blind. also, they are calibrated at the factory.. there is NO pot on these meters, they are very precise. Accuracy- 0.15% first 3 minutes, 0.08% accuracy after 3 minutes. Resolution- 4 digits. These got real popular because these voltmeters can work with 12,14,16,18 and 24v systems.

if it's reading 16v at the battery, then the fuse is in tact... Also, with the car off, does the voltage continue to climb at the battery above 13.6v? and keep rising?

I create a lot of bass lines in the 16-35hz range and need some good headphones to listen to the music a lot better than what i am doing now.. I see the reviews for these are great but do i need to really get these for my goals? In a few hours from now, i'm planning on buying a used pair of these for around $150. I like them because of their insane power capability without the requirement of an amp. That's something i keep reading that many people like about them.. that and the fact on how low they drop. Any other headphones out there for my goals that may be cheaper without the need for an amp?

since u know my car and engine, if i wanted to get the 390xp, what is the typical timeframe i would need to wait for it? Anything special that needs to be done? I want the VCM and me and rob talked about this since there is no plug for my vehicle, that u guys would make the xp alt with a GM plug on this Scion and give me the required cables so i can plug the alt and vcm up like that. So with that info, how long should i expect to wait? It's so i know how to gauge time for when i'm ready to order.

Well, what can i say.... What does RD and Skar and Kevin and scammers and illegal aliens all have in common? Once they do u wrong, it's common practice.. So, why am i not surprised there is ANOTHER thread about another customer's problem? Apparently let me lay out circumstantial information from my own opinion. Having done a LOT of business online, customer service, realtime information and product need to be top notch.. Customer service comes from ALWAYS being available. If not, callback customer... Realtime info- shipping info needs to be sent.. if not, how is a customer suppose to know what's goin on? Product- obviously it must work.. IF it doesn't, your pockets BETTER BE deep enough to accept losses all day long without it hurting business... Well, i believe either it's ran by someone who has none or not enough of this experience or doesn't have enough money to start this business with possible losses along the way.... It's apparent it's one of those... there is no other possibility or someone is lying! Now, when i ship lightweight things, i use USPS. I do not get tracking because it's not necessary for my purposes. EVERYTHING i ship gets delivered in 3days or less in the USA so there's no need for tracking.. IF something is lost.. insurance will cover it, plain and simple. If not, I'll battle the carrier while the customer gets another product.. Why? because my pockets aren't light... Since me and Kyle have the same car.. we've known about this for a while... hehe. this summer, i'm goin at it again and need to know which route i am going to take due to timeframe.. I will need my new alt upgrade sometime this summer... Preferrably within the next 2-3 months to be honest. For that timeframe, have u guys been able to figure out, or be able to test the dual 320HPs or is that out of the question? I know the 270xp is in play.. and i know the 390xp is as well.. So, of the 3, which am i looking at for best option this summer? And you know me.. i run more power than what i can fit in this car...lol
