You do realize that military spending is not all defense. Much of it is research. And that research pretty much developed every cool technology that you can't live without. I know, but.. with all the money the country has spent and continues spending... Then one year, lets say a certain % of soldiers is brought back here. Let's say that's the % we were waiting for. Well, if the military budget were to still continue being spentfunded the way it was when we deployed all these soldiers over there, then that would be plenty of money for research, etc.. But, in the end.. we do not work in the government so we just sit back as spectators and comment on what we think we know.. Most of the time i just give up. Isn't anything we can do..

I'm only laying out what i see or hear on TV or news. Bush spent tons of money because of 9/11 war.. Obama spending tons of money past and currently(slowly cutting back) on the same war. I may not understand why our government loves to stay in other countries.. well forever but that's their call, not mine. Anyways.. Obama is trying to bring these guys back home but when terroristic activities KEEP happening either here or in other allied countries.. it really delays the timeframe and the Potential for saving money on the military spending. Now, with that being said, let me spill out a total contradiction on what Romney has said- He wants to bring the troops home NOW..no certain deadline or time like Obama said, etc.. He wants it done now... Now, why would he want that? Well, America assumes we bring the troops back, we cut spending in the military and possibly ease tensions on war status... Well, if bringing the troops back is suppose to cut military spending, then why did Romney publicly say in the debate that he wants to INCREASE the military budget by $2.1 Trillion dollars. Now, WHY would you want to dump extra USELESS money, because if we are not at war like what the vision he was implying here, then why put so much money into it when it's not being used? We all know what the military is for but his view and reasoning were contradicting each other by far and made him look stupid by saying that. So, we are going to get our troops home ASAP but start funding the military more when the majority of our troops are not out of the country defending and we are not at a crucial war. Just like what Obama said in the debate, just with any genre of business, you make cuts and gains throughout the life of something and the military has had many cuts from the past to now because of innovative technology. We have machines, drones, computers, etc.. Not everything requires to be at ground level anymore.

ALL AGM batteries are Lead Acid batteries. Also, Deep Cycle refers to the primary purpose of the battery, not the type of battery. Deep Cycle would mean low current discharge to extreme low discharge % before recharging. Deep Cycle is not ideal for car audio unless you have an enormous amount of them to compensate for the advised discharge current usage from the batteries themselves.

bigger size coil shouldn't be assumed as being better. Because for one, what is it being compared too? All smaller coils from every sub out there? IE - Audiobahn, i do not know about since their reboot if they still do, had a 6" coiled sub rated for less than 1000wrms. It was a shallow mount sub. So, do not assume that a larger coil is greater than every other sub out there with a smaller coil. If you imply it's better, then list what you are comparing it to.

Sounds like the regulator is damaged OR better yet, the Bridge Rectifier is on it's last leg and can only put out 33 or 67% of it's rating. Either way.. let's assume the alt is going to be replaced. Next step, your battery must be put on a charger, no alternator and do it NOW!

XS, Odyssey, Juicebox and Batcap have practically the highest PHCA on the planet. So, in terms of cranking.. they are the best. In terms of heat, i run a D1200 under the hood and have for a year now. You want to know why batts swell under other scenarios like that? Because people are using aftermarket regulators that are charging above 14.4v. I have a chart here which shows what voltage AGM batts should be charged at a given temperature and obviously the engine bay is hot so it needs the least amount of voltage. You should use OEM regulators even on high output alternators to prevent overcharging.

I wouldn't call it taking.. In general, there are only so many ways to measure.. Peak Hold (burps) Averaging (bassrace, park n pound, etc) Out of those 2.. you have to separate yourself from others by either changing durations, changing algorithms of how things are measured, narrowing the range of averaged output, etc... Of course for Peak Hold, your source material could be either tones or music.. but it's not like there is an unlimited amount of things every league can do.

muddy sound means the transient response sucks. This could be caused by a "boomy" enclosure, extremely low damping factor at wired load, or something is possibly boosted(bass boost on amp or EQ settings or bass settings increased on head unit)

the only cap i recommend doing in car audio is capping the charge voltage

I am looking at the 2011-2012 MECA competing season and this is what happened last year- 4-21-12 - Sherman, TX 5-26-12 - Denison, TX 6-16-12 - Durant, OK 8-25-12 - Sherman, TX 9-29-12 - Denison, TX All of those are around 4hrs away from Austin. So, it's possible that there could be events like that this year too.

Let MECA have some time. they've typically ran about 170 shows a year. They have less than 15 right now because the season just started.. THERE WILL BE MANY SHOWS I WILL BE ATTENDING! I GUARANTEE IT!

In the years i've been in this hobby and have personally done business with both companies, i'd go CA even if the AQ amp was 25% cheaper at like power. Why? Because AQ's CS back when I was with them was not user friendly.. I had to pay for a burnt up amp, brand new from them because they don't pay for repairs out of their pocket? wtf? Why not give me a new amp? Oh no.. it has to be repaired... Amp had never outputted anything before it burnt up.. Long story.. there was a fault inside but still i had to pay for it.. CA, i haven't had to deal with repairs from them BUT at least they offer flat rate warranty services so i know i will not be out of money if it does break down. I've had direct short coils come from AQ back when they were made along with DD and of course i had to pay round trip shipping for a new one.. My fault again i guess even though they admitted it was their fault on the line.. I've always had to pay more for AQ shit than what a customer suppose to then when i left that company and ventured out, i seen that i was paying too much for too little. IF you want an amp period, stick with what SSA offers. They have literally everything you could need here power-wise.
