  1. This seems redundant on my part.. Many people keep saying USPS doesn't offer tracking or it doesn't work... USPS only ALLOWS packages to have Tracking service put on it if using Express Mail DOMESTICALLY only! For INT'L shipments, you can use Express, Priority or GXG(which is badass) You cannot monitor tracking unless it's EXPRESS MAIL, And that number does not fit my Express Mail chart at all. You may be able to monitor tracking through Registered Mail but that's mostly used for letters, etc.. and that's also not a RM number either.
  2. This is just an example of what it takes to get everything installed to an over-efficient benefit- Imagine that X4 for the bass amps alone... Don't worry, areas that are close to arcing (which did while installing), their terminals are viced at a high angle to prevent laying on the wrong blocks and will be permanently anchored away from ground when finished.
  3. that's what it takes to be at my spl level.. 160 daily driver.. in a 4banger.. not easily accomplished
  4. oh, well i have no shocks in my car anymore so it bounces... All the drop in installs blew out in my car due to weight. Come to find out, all the drop ins do not like exceeding the maximum GVWR rating of the vehicle. These i have are custom, welded brackets, etc..
  5. How expensive? I spent less than $700 INSTALLED on Slam Bags for trucks on my 4banger... My bags are rated for 2500lbs per bag, 400PSI filled, 750PSI surge. I spent exactly $650 installed, parts were less than $400. Currently I have about 800lbs in the vehicle, about 500 more lbs to go before i'm done. These bags are just laughing at the weight... In my car, i have about 140PSI filled right now holding 800lbs in the rear. Rear height is bout 2" below stock height but definitely safe.
  6. is there something wrong with the current battery you are using? If it's not the same as the rest you may have in the back, u can spend an easy ~$50 from www.oznium.com on a 200A solenoid. This will allow you to run a standard lead acid batt with sealed lead acid(AGM) in the rear without worrying about effecting cycle life of all the batts in the vehicle. Or.. if you insist on changing batt to prevent from using a solenoid, get a small aH batt. Your batt up front will not help your voltage for your car audio IF and only IF you have batt(s) in the rear. So there is no sense in spending a lot of money up front when it all comes from the back.
  7. only if it were for the best. I also agree that is sounds very nice. I'm curious as to what he may not like about it that is making him decide to change something.. like the enclosure.
  8. You won't get tracking with priority mail. Express shipments offer Tracking. I'm referring to tracking as in what you would expect when using UPS/Fedex... Express Mail will give you this exact type of tracking info. Most people do not use Express because it's base price is more than Priority but after factoring in extra services, domestically, Express is just a hair more. When shipping internationally, Express or GXG is highly recommended. I can ship something to New Zealand using GXG and it be delivered within 2-3 days guaranteed. I haven't used GXG yet so i can't comment on it's tracking capability.
  9. USPS has had tracking for a very long time. It depends what service you are using with them. Express mail will always offer tracking information. Even if there was no tracking info available to you on their website, all you have to do is go down to the Post Office that will deliver your package and they will print out a very detailed tracking document that is far more advanced than UPS/Fedex.
  10. Well, then that answers that, hehe. WS' Royal Excelence is $4/ft and non-flex is $3/ft.
  11. I may need to order some wire specifically for tight areas soon. If i do, has anyone actually used both of these before? I know Kolossus Flex is so flexible it feels like there is no wire in the jacket... But i do not know how flexible they have made the 4/0 in RE... My runs would need to do an "S" in about a 6" range.
  12. Nobody makes a good capacitor advertising-wise Why do you need rear stage? Why do you need an equalizer? Why do you need an external crossover? Batts- XS Power over Kinetik. For daily, you can go with XS XP line, Deka Intimidator, Diehard AGM Platinum Marine Line, Carquest NGT Xtreme. Alternator- DC Power= bulletproof performance, long wait ; Mike Singer= Nice alts, cheaper price.
  13. Yea.. what the? Oh i get it.. We wont be burpin zcon on 11k.. he wants me to bring all my amps with me We'll just burp it on 22kw then.
  14. you may have already burnt out the remote line then. Make sure the line hasn't come loose from the headunit. Besides that, you will have to tap off ignition wire from now on until you get a new headunit again.
  15. I just re-read everything posted in here. Before your recent incident with alt going out altogether, i keep reading you talking about how the idle is always 13.0v.. idle...idle..idle.. When driving, was it ever above 13.0v? Also, what are you using to measure voltage and where is it measuring at? Now, for the most recent incident- For your stock alt to be working and your mechman not.. That sounds like regulator failure. pm me and i'll tell u some more.
  16. u get a chance to watch some movies yet?
  17. it's not DOT approved because.... well nvm, hehe. But seriously, can anyone think of a potential reason that they could get finedticketed for having such windshield because i have been unable to?
  18. I'm with ya Stefan! It's illegal because in a scenario where the driver needs to be freed, the windshield will not break free. that's the ONLY reason.
  19. um.... running a vehicle that has an alternator is by far more efficient than having it off and playing for long periods of time. All you are doing is cycling the battery(ies) with greater DoD which will result in the long run with a short battery life and anyone that knows you do this will refuse to buy used batteries off of you as well. Then when the vehicle is turned back on, you risk frying the rectifier inside the alternator. This isn't a matter of opinion, but fact.
  20. it's 100% not legal, already looked.. Although, i do know that it's also only lightly tinted, about 10-15% darker than a normal windshield... In my opinion, it would be impossible for an officer to determine you were using illegal windshield unless you were in a wreck so bad that it involved cutting through the windshield to get to you. I don't see any other way an officer could possibly fine someone for it..
  21. not full tilt.. and only for 2-3 seconds at a time.. I was doing burp testing for competition. I would do this literally like 3-4 times a month.
  22. Do you want me to just machine something for you here? lol
  23. And why would you play with car off anyway? Is your engine about to go? I have sat in park for over 2hrs at idle before with no problem. Engine bay was hot as hell because i had the hood down but i only lost 18th of a tank of gas from a 4cylinder.
  24. I don't think anyone here nor I is forcing you to not do it, but just letting you know the effects of what you are about to experience. Also, when a crossover point is set, it's not an immediate drop of so many dbs either! When you say crossed at 80hz lpf, it can continue to be audible on your 15s(if the skars were not there) as high as 150hz if not more possibly.
  25. ^ Yep, even with wire insert method used on most amps, i still zip tie the cables 2inches behind the insert. I am a bitch when it comes to safety and longevity.. My dumb ass is researching high performance wood screws(not spax screws). I'm too critical.... Next thing, you'll see me researching specific remote wire to use that can turn an amp on better than just any oh normal wire, hehe.
