  1. Pricing adjustment- We have been looking into adjusting the pricing of our USB Noise Meter. It was $344, it will now be $309 from now on. Also, we have added combo deals as well that will give the user a competitive edge. We are also looking into possibly dropping the RTA Pro Meter pricing permanently soon too.
  2. I have showed this video off before but never here. For those wanting to see our software tested beyond it's normal use, well let us entertain your curiosity! What you are about to see is 6, yes 6 pressure meters all controlled off of 1 computer.. The quantity is only limited by your creativity. Enjoy-
  3. ALL IMAGES ARE NOW UPDATED!
  4. Our Android software is setup to be able to use 2 wireless meters at the same time... However, the coding isn't finished yet but the capability is already there. I will let you know when that feature is fully implemented soon.
  5. We went in full to put ourselves at the top in a market like this. Our meters are specifically calibrated alongside a termlab. What the termlab sees, we see, it's that simple. We rate accuracy at +/- 0.1db for variables out of a user's control. Check our website for league support. We currenty have 2 leagues in Russia. LouD Games and AMT. In the future, LouD Games is coming to US and will be honestly the most unique and competitive format I have seen EVER! More on that when the time comes.. We have more leagues looking, inquiring but nothing is official until it's posted on our home page. Our software can do realtime, peakhold, averaging, muti-monitor viewing, mutli meter usage, FAR more than a termlab can per pc and sync like and unlike meters together for dual metering simultaneously. Now, our averaging algorithm is different than the termlabs algorithm, therefore the results can be different. Now, the algorithm is mostly controlled via software so it's possible for us to adapt to the other algorithm... Recent customer states averaging was deadon with termlab. I have heard no official word on the software being recoded for this purpose because we are busy creating judging software for leagues. I can find out if any attempt has been done to change the averaging algorithm, but I can strongly tell you now that if it hasn't, it will not be for a while as we are having multiple people evaluate our judging software as it's very $$$. I would not let this factor discourage you even if you only needed a meter for averaging. Averaging has TONS of variables at play and as long as we do have that function in our software, which we do, you and anyone else who uses the function will be completely satisfied. Keep asking questions about anything, you get us to fill in the information quicker while we are slowly moving over.
  6. Thank you everyone! Give me a few days so I can finish uploading pics of the rest of our hardware, discuss new things, etc... PS- there is a reason why we waited to become a vendor at this time of the year...
  7. Yea, I was tryin to find SSA.. finally found the site, hehe. I was in the chatroom all this time.
  8. Yes sir. And I might as well explain this before this question gets asked, hehe. A long time ago, our software, v1 was, well.. not modern looking. So, when the USB Pro devices were made so long ago, they use a Datalink box. This box runs to PC, but both meters run into this box via Cat5 cable. The box was to ensure that both meters were to be in total sync all the time.. Well, when our newer software was released (still in use), V2, this software allows the pairing of up to 2 devices per instance of software and the software itself ensures meters stay in sync with each other. That means a user can use an USB and Wireless Meter and be in sync with each other measuring... Now, even though our current software is more modernized, etc.. We still use the Datalink box because of it's Cat5 cable conversion capability. Instead of being limited, like on the USB meter, of a 16ft cable(or ~32ft if using extension), user can use Cat5 cable which has a much longer capable range if user needs that extra length... But that is also why the Wireless meter was born
  9. USB vs USB Pro They are the same except the Pro comes with 2 sensors instead of one. Price difference- USB = $409 USB Pro = $549 Advantage? For the end user, using more than one sensor in the same environment, vehicle for example, allows the user to watch and test in real-time how pressure loads in the vehicle. When doing tweaking, positioning, etc.. user can see how doing something effects how pressure loads from one side of the vehicle to the other if each sensor were on each side of the vehicle. Also, if you are a judge, planning on being one, etc.. dual sensors are a nice tool to move competitors through the lanes quicker. Also, I have made a video before showing how it is possible to use 6 of our meters at once on the same computer! The more sensors you use in testing, the quicker and more you can learn about how pressure loads in your vehicle. I have heard of competitors use as many as 4 sensors in their vehicle for testing. Windshield placement and Kick placement on driver and passenger side. They monitor all changes on all meters when doing testing to understand how pressure changes according to what they are doing.

This is what separates the past from the future of measuring pressure. The SQL Meter uses a special algorithm used to bring the oldschool competition back! No more burp only, no more tuning your system JUST for a specific range, etc.... The SQL Algorithm is the TRUE method of distinguishing who has the loudest overall stereo system out there. People with 170db+ extreme vehicles will now be EQUALLY competitive with those who run an amateur style aftermarket setup that may have less than $1,000 invested. How is this possible? This is how it works- User will be metered for 30 seconds. In these 30 seconds, something very interesting is happening... For EVERY SECOND the meter is measuring of the 30 seconds, it will be finding 1 peak PER range using the following ranges- 20-26 Hz 26-33 Hz 33-40 Hz 40-53 Hz 53-66 Hz 66-80 Hz 80-160 Hz 160-320 Hz 320-640 Hz 640-1280 Hz 1280-2560 Hz 2560-5120 Hz 5120-10240 Hz 10240-20000 Hz Good Luck! Active measurable SPL ranges during measuring- 120-165dB. Capable averaged scores at end of 30 second run- 0dB - 165dB. PS - Nobody in the history of the SQL Meter that we have ever known has been able to average over 150dB. And as a matter of fact, not even 140dB. Remember, the meter locates peaks in ALL ranges. If your stereo cannot play very well in ANY particular range, your score will suffer very bad and your choice of music is also a major part in doing well also.
  13. Who is SPL-Lab? SPL-Lab is a company based in Russia that manufacturers sound pressure meters primarily for car audio competition but can also be used for other environments based on measuring techniques. SPL-Lab has been around since 2007 and has had a distributor in North America since 2nd Quarter of 2010. Who is SPL-Lab USA? That is us! We are the authorized distributor for SPL-Lab for Canada, USA, Mexico and South America. We stock inventory in Kentucky, USA. All orders offer typical shipping of 3 days or less to all 50 states. We are always around to help you out anyway we can so do not hesitate to contact us for questions. What products do you have to offer? We offer pressure meters that use a sensor rather than a microphone to measure pressure. We have a total of 7 pressure meters, 4 of which are purely used for measuring bass or lower frequencies (from 120hz and below) and 3 totally different types of RTA meters than can measure from 10hz up to 22khz if necessary. What makes one product different from another? Our 4 different pressure meters that measures lower frequencies each have their own place. The USB meter and USB Pro meter are like meters except the Pro meter uses 2 sensors simultaneously rather than just one sensor. The LCD meter is a portable meter that requires no computer! This is especially useful if in an area that has no computer access. The Wireless Bluetooth meter can be controlled via a computer or an Android device. Because of the versatility, it's more convenient to use this type of meter because the control device is typically something you may already own! Why would one need a pressure meter? This is an interesting question as there are many uses for such and one must pay close attention to which company they choose to go with as not all meters are the same. Pressure meters are typically used for the following- Car Audio Competitions and fine tuning setups that do not compete Home Audio positioning Industrial use for measuring external noise in open environment If you fit one of these main uses, you will be surprised at what all a meter can do for you. What makes SPL-Lab's meters worth purchasing? Why should I choose to purchase one if I want one? Our meters are of the closest, calibrated meters on the market compared to the more expensive competition out there. Our meters are cheaper in price, yet boast an incredible amount of capabilities. We are open to not only fix and update software, but implement new strategies into the software to give the user their best possible software package they require. We accept any and all user requests to make the software that runs these products better than anyone could possibly imagine for free! We do not charge for software or for updates! The hardware and software is geared primarily toward the audio market to meet the need to accurately measure pressure up to 180db and higher (special order only for accuracy over 180 and under 194db) and environmental measurements of up to 130db-140db. Our products are built not only for accuracy, not only to save your wallet, but also for convenience. Based upon the capabilities of the pressure meters offered by SPL-Lab, they require the least amount of hardware out of any other company similar and as accurate as our meters are. All hardware, of course, is included and no required software installation or licensing transfers ever required!(NOTE: For use with running shows, our software requires a license to use our database function. End user usage is always free.) 14. Thanks guys. This is the 5,749th time i've been to this site so it's still new to me Well, since it is official, we better get started on who we are and what we are about!
  15. Why not port your Type R?
  16. Hi, my name is Stephen and i have this for sale.... And just within the last 2 months, i had the same thing plenty of times again.. I just keep gettin the same stuff and sellin it..
  17. haha, if u were david it would have been, so it's an idea that'll never happen? haha.
  18. That is what i'll be doing in my install. I'll have my alternator runs on it, all my bass amps on it, all my front stage amps on it, and an extra 1500A continuous worth of extra connectivity on there and accessory protection (10 mini-blocks) on there. My block is gonna be around 3ft wide, it's massive design.
  19. While bitrate does help, all 320kbps mp3s will still not be guaranteed the same level. The other variable is the amplitude at which the music is recordedcompressed. This comes in 2 ways. One, does the song have high amplitude peaks? Two, is the song normalized in such a way to average the amplitude to match other music? You can take songs made 40years ago that will not be at the same level as a new techno song, for example. Using some editing, you can make this happen. That is what these bass enhancement processors are good for but should NEVER be used on music that is recorded properly.
  20. well, someone buy that amp and see what the return address is
  21. Steven? STEVEN? My Lisp is gone! You Supid, son uv a bish!
  22. According to Knu's tech spec, the Kolossus 1/0 cable is equal to 2/0.
  23. FYI, prefab boxes for mainstream subs rarely are ever tuned low enough to be ideal. Secondly, White girl has no lows, lol. Your definition of lows must be pretty high, hehe.
  24. if u want him to tune higher, just brace everywhere.. Simple. that alone will raise tuning and possibly audibly if you can put enough bracing in there. no need to use allthread, hehe, you aren't running 10kw to these icons are you? Just get some 1-2" cylindrical dowel rods and go crazy. The bigger the better in your scenario.
