maybe on the first runs of the Brahma's----the new ones (Mark II) are very well built--- the differances in the 2 are simple---- Fs----- The Brahma has a lower Fs so it will be leaning towards the SQ side---the RE being higher Fs will be more SPL based----both have XBL^2 motor tech---a flatter BL load for both is always a plus over alot of other sub-drivers. It is really what you are looking for and what you plan on using them for----IE---enclosure size---power applied-----enclosure design. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> dave ill talk to u more about it on aim (ufvj217) but im gonna buy 2 Hifonics BX1800D amps, one for each sub. i can use as much or little as i need in the whole cargo of my explorer. but since im deff gonna buy those 2 1800 w amps, should i put them on the 2 XXX's or the 2 brahmas? if there both gonna have the same power, i would imagine that theyll be the same SPL wise?(prally wrong lol) or would 1800 on each XXX be louder than 1800 on each brahma? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Now I'm basing this on Dave's words from above so I may be wrong.... With the Brahma having the lower Fs it won't be quite as loud or wang as much as the XXX will. Granted this could be proven opposite with different enclosures, but all things being equal, by all theory the XXX will be louder and just wang alot more. J

Actually I do. I'm going to install when I return to NY for IASCA AD NW 0-360. Gonna sound deadon EVERYTHING and see how it helps. New glass and stuff there of. Thinking 2 Better Audio subs if I can get ahold of Chris. If not the RE here I come. I am thinking either 2 12" MT's or 2 XXX's. Not sure yet. Also, gonna re-do My Explorer. Hopefully gonna have enough bank left to get another BMF 1000D competitor series and 2 more Viper 12.2 subbies. Both the EXP and Neon will be bangin. Also gonna fix small chit on the Neon and give it a new starter. J

Okay I make my firewall hole and run the power wire, run the rca's and remote wire's, run wire to distro block, ground wire to chassis, connect rca's and wires, mount amp, install fuse holder under hood, put fuse in distro block, turn on HU and see how she works, and tweak amp, then tweat hu to create balance in stagng. J

I drive around a 99 EXP XLT. Not bad system for now IMO. The Neon was picked up just cause I can............Around here there is a TON of non rice neons. Only 3 people have rice neons. I am prolly gonna fix it up and sell it. J

Okay skipped 1st class to sleep and kinda forgot the extra sleep. Went to philosophy and talked to my friend Ryan. Ryan calls this kid who has had His Rockford that I want, sence least summer. Kid calls Ryan back after class and tells Ryan to have m go get it later. Well in the meantime we go look at a friends old beat ass rice Neon. Rice rims, and bad tint. Needs a starter. Well Ryan looks to buy it and I tell chris (my friend) to go get the amp with me. On the drive home I suggest my Pioneer TS-W33C subs all 4 of them and a home made basically wall, and my old Pioneer amp the Rockford would be replasing for his 1995 Dodge Neon SE. He calls his dad and his dad agrees. Now here comes my dilema: Go rice and get the new starter, and make it a rice rocket as a joke and re-sell it/keep it Get a new started and make it into a wall vehicle but leave the body as is Or just fix the back indshield which got shattered and the sunroof which flew out and re-sell it as is................... Or a combo there of...... Thus far I am leaning towards Rice/wall but I want some input. J

Okay got 4 Old ass but brand new in box, pioneer SVC 150 RMS TW-W33C subs from the local shop, for 100 bones. I figured it'd be a good start for 4 12's to mess around with. Well i built a Box the size of the Explorer XLT's cargo area. So thats 30" Deep, 40" wide, and 16" tall. (exterior demensions). Anyways made a port thats like 3" wide (give or take), and about 5" deep. Well what did I tune this thing to?? I have no theile small parameters, for the subs so it was just a shot in the dark for this project. Its almost as good as my 2 Vipers in 47hz boxes made for DD's. Anways this setup is prolly going soon. I am trying to get jcc's 4 Vega Vega 12's to put back there next. That should thump like all hell. Anways some ideas would rock. J
