I did it a little in the past in the summers. I need to start looking for work outside the Military. Problem is I still have no fucking clue when I am leaving. I know what I would like to do, the problem is getting my foot shoved into those doors is a bitch. J

It really is. I hate to sound happy that someone lost their job right at Christmas, but this dude is a total fuckin dirtball. I mean a complete scumbag. From the sounds of it I'd be a better used car guy than he was and I have never sold a car in my life. J

Yeah, I would much rather be a perennial loser then win a couple Super Bowls in the last 5 years. That is much easier to bear. And sorry but its not predictable. Some weeks we play like a Super Bowl caliber team. Other weeks we look like The University of Georgia Astro Physics second squad could whoop us. J

That means you know a lot more about HDR than i do! /> That's really cool though. I've always wanted to experiment with it. May i ask what program you are using? The t4i from Canon does it automatically. For the lay person it is a really cool function. Amazing in my opinion for people who don't want to try to take 3 exposures manually. This does it without needing my brain. :-D That T4i plus the 18-135 lens that takes advantage of step motor is an INSANE value for the amature, home/kids photography and movie taking. I like messing around in manual functions but I am toooooo slow. So letting the camera resolve all of the issues in a split second is fantastic! I just met a guy who has a 5dmarkiii and does concert photography. WTFOMGBBQ. He showed me a bunch of pictures and I was just amazed. Cool guy. Concert photography is so fucking un-predictable its insane. J

Well look more into military sirplus............An up armored HUMVEE could have some potential. Not to mention I don't think its something that has been done. You can prolly find one with a blown engine at a reasonable price. J

Nothing like watching people lose their shit over the cold and snow. Granted the snow came close to us, and some came down but none stuck down here. On the mountains yes, but down here not so much. J

This is why I love having military gear. Yes 99,98% of the time it is made by the lowest cost manufacturer, but the cold weather shit they got right. J When I flew over for my deployment I slept in our Boom pod, it's unheated so it's like -15 degrees in there.. I had my big as sleeping bag that is good for -20 and I was as warm as could be.. Sounds about right. I know I've only once been COLD while sleeping in the field and that's when the heater went out and I have none of my 'cold weather' layers. Nobody to blame but me. J
