Welcome to the IHoP
Yes I think they are. We tend to train some real WTF scenario's. The Zombie scenario you are speaking of was outreach with a Police department. Try training for a Blizzard in Tucson Arizona (like 3 ft on the road), or for the US invading France. If you could see the full range of the stupidity you would be astounded. But, it just means we have more ideas ready to go. J

Welcome to the IHoP
3.5 and 1.5 We promised one piece today on the way home. Before he gets home I am going to sort out the stuff I don't want him to have. One house gave out bags of poofed popcorn. He did eat that last night. All jokes aside, since your kids eat like you do, what have you done to make it so you didn't eat so much 'shitty' food? I ask because I keep finding myself going for crap frood for little to no reason besides convenience.........Any suggestions? Also, I will be making Sauce and maybe Cheesecake Sunday. Anyone find themselves in South Arizona feel free to come by. J

Welcome to the IHoP
Hopefully for the better, brother. Some things are changing around for me. I do not want to curse it, but shit is coming back around. For some other people, I cannot say they are having the same fortune. I am just doing what I can do to help those who want it. For those who do not, I wish them the best and let them live their life. Welcome to the IHoP
It is seriously insane how quickly things can turn around. How quickly a life can change. Mind boggling when you really think about it. J

Welcome to the IHoP
i understand man. i really like it here and it feels comfortable to be here. i don't bring anything because there are alot of people that either take me wrong or i know somebody else will chime in who has alot more "seniority" i guess you could say. i use to hang out in the RF forums years ago and felt how i do here, then the SMD forums and couldn't stand it because everybody was a know it all even when they didn't know jack. i know that a lot of you guys here are very close. i know that i'm different, but i hope that i'm interesting enough to want to keep around. i really like it here, but if you guys would rather just stick to what your comfortable with and get rid of the unwanted "brother in-law" then thats alright just tell me and i'll walk away. your sister and i haven't had any kids, i have no ties. i'm not gonna lie i'll miss chatting with you guys and reading all the funny shit, but you know how it goes. i'll tell you what, if you don't want to just post it here on the board i'll keep an eye on my PM box and if a few of you guys who have been here for a while like M5, Nem, Godsmack, tirefryer and a couple others send me a PM, even a blank one, i'll be quiet and walk away without any hard feelings. i respect you guys and who you are individually, each of your personalities. You worry too much, just ChILL. i have anxiety pretty bad. i don't take anything for it so it's usually always pretty bad. this place is where i'm comfortable and feel free The main point I am driving at here brother is just relax. Vent, but think about what you say before you say it. Realize that there is no need to 'sound cool' or anything around here. It's an open forum and we like different view points. We especially like them when they are based in proper verbage. J

Welcome to the IHoP
Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he phrases certain things, but we know he has a point in what he says. He also has the cool toys most of the family doesn't. -Tirefryr is the cousin we talk to who is much like M5 but minus the toys and who doesn't drink so much. -Sand is the great uncle. A bit cranky and will tell you how it should be. No fucking filter, no sympathy. He lays it out for you and you get the advice you need to hear. If its also what you want to hear, cool. If not too fucking bad. -Nem is the crazy cousin who is ALWAYS doing something to make us say WTF in a good way. He is a jack of many trades and a master of terrifying the children. You.........your the new brother in law that somehow got in the house and drinks all the beer and bitches when we have none left even tho you brought nothing with you. Calls us cheap asses for not having more, while telling us of your life and how shit has fucked you up. Secretly we all wish she wouldn't of married you, but since we are now stuck with you we try to help you as best we can. Too bad you never fucking listen and always bitch when shit turns out so wrong. J

Welcome to the IHoP
Blood alcohol level and tolerance are not related. You may live near Spirit Lake, but you can't be a MN/IA native... why do you say i can't be a native? born and raised in Fairmont MN, but lived down south by El Paso for about 6yrs Then there is the issue. El Paso. J

Welcome to the IHoP
I love all the TV talk. I love my Sharp 52" Aquios. LCD and it was th best thing I could find in my budget in 2009. I looked at plasma and LCD and for me, the LCD offered better views at multiple angles. The plasma looked flat, almost lifeless. Now the latest rage (aside from 3D) being LED makes me sick. I can watch the same show on LED or LCD, and will take LCD over LED any day of the week at any price difference. The LED makes motions look fake. Too fluid. Almost like watching a 'digitally remastered' movie that was done on a shoestring budget. J

You're taller then me, but not by that much. You have me by a few inches in height, but I have you by a few inches in... girth, I'm sure. At 6'7" and 215lbs I'm HUGEIn Japan You weigh what I weigh at 5'10"...........damn genetics. J

I've been looking at that. Right now, and for a little bit longer cost is a factor. J

Welcome to the IHoP
What is going on? Eh mis-budgeted. Between piss poor communication with the 'wife' and not watching closely I got down on funds quick. Nobody to blame but myself here. J

Studio Photography
I literally have no flashes besides the built in shit. While the D3000 may be a 'starter' camera I have taken some AMAZING shots (IMHO) with it. Is it perfect? Not in the least. I am not looking to go 'magazine quality' per se, but I want to put my best foot forward. As for a better camera what would you suggest? I truly love Nikon and would like to stay with them if possible. And what do you mean by 'fast glass'? J

Happp Birthday djjdnap
Happy birthday bro!!! Hope to see you around some more!!! J

Studio Photography
With 'winter' coming I need to move some shooting in doors. That being said, I am going to need better flashes for my Nikon D3000. Most of my photo's will be done in a single room I am going to convert into a 'studio' room, but the lighting will need to be mobile for other sets (bar, bedroom, etc). I just need to know where to look for good flashes and what I should expect to pay. The VAST majority of the subjects are females 18-29 in various outfits. They want 'portfolio' work and I am more than happy to help, I just need better setups. J

Welcome to the IHoP
This from a guy who was proposing to hit women earlier...including the one you speak of. Your perception of reality is a bit odd to say the least. yeah, i have only hit my wife once and that was about 10yrs ago and it was more of a slap. i treat her with a ton of respect. she is my wife and the mother to my kids. if you only knew our history you would understand a little more, but we have been through a hell of alot together. Yea I'm still gonna say you need some professional help brother. J
