I've been looking at one lately to replace my silverado 1500. I'll probably wait untill spring. i wish ford or Chevy would make a mega cab like dodge did. I just can't bring myself to buy a dodge. Tundra? J possible. I'd rather stay Chevy of Ford.tundras are bad ass. tundras are bad ass.... my uncle always buys them, in fact he just got a new one a month ago.. fucking sweeeeeetttt , tons of hauling capability big ass motor, comfy and its a Toyota.. runs for ever. i can go on all day about toyota trucks. guess I need to look in price and amenities. I like to go visit friends and family, they are always cooking. Not exactly a huge option in AZ...........That and I hate 'dropping in' on dinner on friends out here. J

Have you spent much time in North Jersey? Yuck! I would rather jerk off with a love sleeve lined with 100 grit sandpaper 5 times a day for a year than visit North Jersey for even 5 minutes ever again. J

Call it adaptation. Spend 10+ hr days in a military vehicle fighting sleep from the low toned but loud hum of the engine, and anything is comfortable. Not to mention I can sleep in places and positions that would break most people. J There is the parallel to Japan. Those fuckers can sleep standing up on a train. Fucking nuts. Slept for 2 hours on a jump seat in a C-130......Back of an LMTV on a 2 hr trip on dirt roads.......While standing in the back of a briefing............ Best part about it is I have semi-mastered the are of 'open eye' sleep. Where your mind basically shuts off, but you can still see and semi hear whats going on. Works GREAT for 5 hour briefings about not a fucking thing worth listening to. I also sleep through a shit ton of loud noises. J

Regular no shoes height is 5'10", and my feet to hips is about 3'5". J

My only bitch is sitting on my wallet in those seats. Aside from that it takes me 3+hrs to get uncomfortable. J

It is true though. Those are made to dip into the US market. If I could afford one of the new deisel crew cabs I might do that... but it's way out of my price. I have the unleaded crew cab (4 door but not full sized backseat) with the 5.7L (bigger than my Firebird) and the damn thing gets goin. It can slip a bit unexpectedly in rain, but thats more than tires and weight distribution than anything. Go drive one. I think you will really like it. Just dropped mine off at the shop for 2-3 weeks. Additionally my Toyota shop is pretty spot on. They don't try and sell me on extra shit EVER. J It's a cool truck... but it didn't fit me so well. And again similar year and miles as a US truck and WAY more cost. How tall are you? I am 6'2" with my hair spiked and my shit doesn't touch the ceiling unless i raise my seat. J
