Welcome to the IHoP
Ok... so about Ashton. I have now had the pleasure of 3 of them. They do not have the huge 60 ring size I like. They are really pricey... and both have formed holes in the wrappers while smoking. Neither sat for long, and though they are not in a humidor(I need one badly) They did have a humidity control pouch in the plastic bag with them and were kept at reasonable temperature. Here is one more brand that I will say treated me right with my most recent purchase from them. Olivia. I have had a couple that I would never try again, but maybe I was just pointed to the wrong flavor. The most recent one was just my speed though. Rocky Patel is just fine too. They are not as tightly packed usualy though... sometimes that causes issues with the wrapper. Like the Ashton. But they are a little cheeper sometimes. They also have so many sizes you can get a shorty if you want that. Humidity packs last only so long. If you cover shipping I'll send ya a nice desktop humi. Also where do you purchase your stogies? Might be some place cheaper that could provide you some real deals. J Right now I buy from a place called stogies on grand. I'm going through trying some of everything and I get a 10% or something back. Like every 500 bucks gets me a $50 gift certificate. I don't know about online vendors. Most of the good deals I have found have a TON of cigars I don't want. And even if I gave them away or sold them for a couple bucks I would be at a loss. My uncle lives way up north here in MN and gets about a large bundle for 60 bucks of "imperfect" ones and those are pretty good. Nothing fantastic, but great for sitting on a lake "fishing". Thanks for the humidor offer. How big is it? I have never, ever researched buying one so I know nothing about them. I just buy the packs every month or so. www.cigarbid.com www.cigarsinternational.com http://www.thompsoncigar.com/ The humi is a desk top one. Holds about 50 sticks. I can season it up for ya before it ships, and it makes a damn good starter humi. As for buying cigars buy the sampiler packs or single sticks. Yes it sucks to wait, but all three of these sites ship FRESH and well packed. Additionally, they offer prices and packages that will make your smoking experiences great with limited loss of cash. J

Switched out the wife's sub stage tonight. The HX2's started to lose some output. I don't know if its due to age or over use, but they are out. Now in there is an 18" XCON and ported box.......With the Subwoofer level dropped quite alot and at 1/2 the volume it is as loud as the 4 8's if not a bit louder. J

Audio technix deadener.....
Damn man........That's just shotty craftsmanship. I see the install work looks like it was done well. But the product looks about 10 times worse than peel and seal. J

Considering the amount of power he ran I have to imagine he had multiple alts. J

I gotta agree with this. You can spend less on the gun off the jump then buy improvement parts as/if needed. The scope well, pretty much every time you want a change besides sighting in, its a new scope. I personally enjoy the AR platform. Reason being is the M4 is a damn nice weapon for what it is. The M16 is fucking horrible. I would seriously prefer a damn muzzleloader to that musket. There is too much that changes between the two. As for caliber, around here I would go with the .223. Easy to find ammo, and parts for weapons. Plus reloading tools are basically a dime a dozen. My next weapons (in no real order) is another Glock (for me this time), a .357 magnum wheel gun, and a baby M&P .45. I love the damn .45 for me. Granted my wife's 10mm is a fucking beast. J

Sounds like a conundrum. frame up a lil room and use some big pieces of plastic for a little paint booth? It truly is. Unfortunately I don't have a spare room big enough that doesn't have a ventilation issue. Tomorrow is supposed to be less wind. I only need to do 2 more coats on each piece then light sand and seal. Then the bitch of all bitches.....the center console. J Get eight 3-way pvc elbows, pvc pipe, and plastic lining. You can assemble a "room" in five minutes, and tear down just as fast. Should work fine outside. Hmmmmm now that could be a solution. J

little help (pick a deck)
The only decks I buy for my own use are Pioneer. Its been that way for about 10 years now. J

Painting plastics of the interior of the car is a real PITA......its made even worse when the wind suddenly pics up. Even light winds tries to pick up the plastics. Cant use the garage case the bird is in there with a bunch of other crap. Moving the car out isn't much of an option as the driveway is slanted and the spring on my e-brake needs re-set. J

Jon you handled it like a man. I am proud to be a member of SSA, where our members )(for the most part) conduct themselves like adults. Mark, kudos for continuing the removal of immaturity from the site. J
