Interesting. To me the bug comes from having to listen to some shit that sounds like ass. No bug if that isn't there. A solid year of nothing but shitty 20 dollar Panasonic cans and 2006 Ford Explorer stock stereo's have me craving good LOUD music. Granted in a car our versions of 'good' are very different. VERY. J I bet our music tastes don't line up either I listen to a WIDE variety of music. From Pink Floyd to Metallica to Atmosphere to classical. No opera or gospel. I listen to a wide variety of music as well, but their is a common denominator. Everything I listen to is music based on musicians with chops on their instruments. No trendy BS, catchy throw aways or any of that shit. If I listen to it the player has spent hours a day for years practicing. Of course that means it is a lot of jam oriented music like Jazz, but there are some categories of Rock where this still fits. I can understand that. Aside from some rap and rap-ish music most of mine is from artists that have spent years making music before I found them. Its rare if they were a flash in the pan and are on my iPod. Sure did.............lots for sale there...........bout the only reason for me to visit. J

Nah its all good. Only difference is I did mine in 110+ weather LOL Kuwait/Iraq summers are no joke. J

Yea especially gaffing. 25L (cable install/repair) is my 2nd job skill. Copper, fiber, etc is what I did last tour. Nothing like digging 4 ft deep through sand stone with a fuckin pick ax, or climbing a 25 ft pole to run a 50 pair wire........ J

I don't mix brands on my speakers. Its not that it cannot be done, I just haven't. I would look at the Cadence, MB Quart, JL Audio, or maybe even some Kicker. What is your budget and how do you want to install them? As previously said forget the back. Rear fill for me has never served a purpose. J

Heard some cadence before. Not a bad speaker IMO. The tweeters seemed a little shrill on certain songs, but I think it was the guys EQ/amp settings. Still stand by my no 6x9's statement. Change them for 6.5's and you'll never go back. J

TV- DirectTV Internet- Cox In southern AZ Cox HD TV always crapped out on me, or the 'HD' version was not available. I have had limited DirectTV issues, and when I did they fixed them. The only thing that sucks is trying to catch baseball in the summer. Quite often the broadcast won't be available. J

I'd dump the 6x9's for some 6.5's and an amp for them. 6x9's are an awkward speaker, that is incapable of producing proper sound quality music. J

Good luck carrying in NY, from what I understand its about impossible to get a full unrestricted carry permit. NYC very, VERY true. State, not God awful. Especially for military. Hence me getting mine in AZ to possibly help make it easier to transfer to another state. Not even 'needed' anymore. J
