My original Terra's didn't even get me 30k. The G2's are made MUCH better. Speaking there of, it's time to have them balanced and rotated. J

There are mid range macro lenses that will work great as a macro lense, as well as a decent prime lens as well. The 60mm 1.4 from Nikon is great at that. J

Looking for new sheets for the bed. I know at one point Egyption cotton was king, and high thread count mattered most. Is this still the case? J

Honestly, ot all come down to lighting with food. If it's not lit right, the colors will not show correctly. What is pleasing to the eye is not always pleasing to the lens. J

For other options on a laptop? What have you seen in a 15-17 inch laptop that has a better display? Not being an ass, but I must have missed it. J

Out of curiosity how much further did your dollar go then? That being said, down here 14.25 isn't horrible. I'll be back to job hunting here in mid March. No classes this summer, and the bills need to be paid. J

This drives a SHIT TON of Colleges to use them in their arts department. Add in the retina display, and you have a gold mine. They got me in due to that and some other perks. Considering it's soley for photography, and the old one is for other shit......it should last a good bit. Adobe has done the same with their creative cloud gimmick. J

If it moves and is more than a few feet away, you have your justification. Especially kids, sports, music, or moving cars. It's on my list of 'needs'. J

LOL I say that because I switched from an 11" Toshiba touchscreen (VERY reflective) to a new 15" MacBook Pro. The retina display is amazing. While many would certainly have an argument about Mac vs PC in this area (and many others) this is one spot where I am simply going with the flow of what my current school, and many others that have a photography program utilize. That being said, I revisited some old shots on my new laptop last night. Talk about a night and day difference between what I had seen before, and what I see now. J

As I haven't tried all of them, I'm not shocked. Canon makes a nice lens, no argument there. I just feel as though Nikon offers an equally worth while lens, and in some spots, superior. J

You can fix that when using a FF body by going into the settings and telling the sensor to crop to a DX sensor. They aren't even 1/2 as sharp as what you get from FF glass. J
