It will be a mixed bag and depending on where you live and what you do, you're experience will differ. J

So what's the over/under on WWIII kicking off by the end of 2017? J

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Well this trip certainly won't be as pleasant as I had wished for. While I get to spend time with my kiddo, I also (more than likely) get to see family infighting, and also to bury my grandmother. I feel worst for my grandfather as she was his world. At least we got a nice chunk of years with her. J

Can I get help checking brace work?

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Thanks man!! The magazine is called 'Kerrang!' and is a weekly print publication in England. They have me down for one shot, and wanted two others they thought were mine, but that belonged to my friend Travis. I gave him the hookup and got him in there as well. I figure after he and I were talking about them when they got a hold of me, and he expressed a desire to see his work in their magazine, and they saw and likes some of his work as is I should set him up as well. Hopefully this could lead to something more perminant. I haven't done weddings but I have done ample modeling work, and fashion as well. I am looking forward to doing more in the future. J

Speaking of networking, I am waiting for a solid answer, but it looks like I may be having ohotos published in a European publication. Once everything is confirmed one way or the other, I'll share the news. Should be less than 5 hours, and I am anxious as hell. J

Very true. But as a smoker, I don't mind stopping in ATL as they have smoking cages, a huge USO, and ample Delta lounges all around. Plus the people watching is fun there as is the possibility of some good photo ops. With all the people flying around networking may be a possibility while waiting. J

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Just booked my trip back to Buffalo. Under 100 dollar difference when I factor in checking a bag and the fees between economy and first class. Chose ATL as my stop as the other stops would have me either leaving way too damn early, getting in at damn near midnight, or being stuck at LaGuardia for 3 hours. J

It has some potentially complicated stuff (knob driven 4x4, sliding back glass motor, sirius xm, unique pattern gear shift, funky dash setup) but it's still a Toyota, and I have found numerous people with 150k+ on the factory engines and trannys with no major issues as long as the schedules maintenance is done. As much as I miss an SUV at times, and would consider a Sequoia, I'll more than likely drive it until it dies. I'll text you Sunday during the day. J

Oddly enough in 2011 my Tundra was the most made in America truck. Damn thing has been dependable so far. At 82k and the only things to go wrong have been minor. Door seal came loose, the radio wasn't functioning properly, and a couple other minor things that suddenly escape me. All covered with no issue under warranty. J

Just to speak on the bit about FL, the LGBT community down here are not typically owners of firearms or CCW permit holders. As such the clubs and bars that are designed with them as a main demographic are 'soft targets'. From what I have seen the doorman was not only armed but also an off duty cop. He was disengaged before the shooter made his way in. Again both of those points about the doorman are what I have read but not necessarily 100% accurate. That being said two things are happening here now. The LGBT community are now purchasing firearms in droves, and attending classes to learn what to do. Also some communities are trying to add to the state laws on 'assault weapons' and to try and make things even worse for legal firearm owners. J

While not a club I had even been to, they were not an exclusively gay club. A few straight friends of mine have been there numerous times for events. This dumb fuck will end up causing a lot of shit. Additionally, the odd thing is ISIS released a list of 'prime targets' with a good chunk here in FL, and allegidly announced an attack being imminent on FL. Needless to say, tensions are going to be running high here for awhile. J

No beard for me. Just a simple chin cap, aka small goatee. My facial hair genetics are horrendous. I would love to be able to grow a real beard. J

Great choice of words. Especially since I have the hair of Shaggy as of late. J

I had a Pantera pass me two days ago on the way to class. Guy driving it couldn't have been more than 35. Looking at it close, the paint was beaten as was the interior when I caught him at the next light. Yet the motor sounded immaculate and it shifted beautifully. She really deserved a better home. J

Got your message and tried to call you. I'll be up at least few more hours, so please get back to me. J

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I'm scared as hell to pick up a Sigma or Tamron lens. The price is great but the reviews on anything besides stills is shit more often than not, and they often weigh much more than lenses from Nikon/Nikkor. J

Expose for the darker areas, or use external out of frame light. J

Would you use a socket and rachet on a decking screw? Would you use a hand saw to cut through a block of steel? I'm willing to bet the answer here is 'No. i would use the right tool for the task at hand.' Just the same, you won't want to shoot the Sistine Chapel or the Pieta with a 50mm simply due to the distace you will be from it, and the details lost at the distance. This is where that 70-200 could be very useful. A 50mm isn't a 'does it all lens' but it is a crucial block in the foundation. It can be great for portraits, 'street shooting' simple photos when unexpected, and best of all they are LIGHT. Other lenses have other uses. J

I'm usually the same here, but I am curious if we have the same reason here on the laptop. I am leaning more towards new but the pricing on used is amazing. J

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Btw, I am looking to replace my photo laptop. Looking to stay around a 17" screen, at least 12 gb ram, a 750 gb hdd (would love sdd if possible), and it has to have amazing graphics as well as wifi and a dvd rom. I don't mind used but I am thinking the 'oldest' I should go is 2014. Any ideas? Budget is around 700 or less. J

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
If looking used he can shave 100-150 off the 50mm, and 600-1200 off the 70-200 (depending on the model). As I shoot FF I look more to the 24-70 instead of the 17-55 and that can be found used around 1100. As for the prior question about crop lenses on a FF body and vice versa, on Jikon they will work. However the results are drastically different and a FF on a crop sensor loses some of the range and useability. If I was starting all over again, I would pick up full frame glass to start with. The body can come later. J

On the Nikon vs Canon debate I will chime in here. After shooting Fort Rock this past weekend the pit was mixed. 1/4 people using mirrorless, P&S or cell phnes (which were listed as a strict NO on the release). The other 3/4 was split pretty evenly between Nikon and Canon with a few Sony's in there as well. When comparing daytime shots with a Canon user shooting a 70-200 and my Nikon D750 with a 70-200 as well, the quality of the shots were nearly identical. Difference being I was manually focusing, he was using the auto focus. Night time, especially when doused in red lights, the Canon's AF was able to blow my Nikon to shit. I'll stick with my Nikon, purchase the 70-200 VRII to use, and simply use the AF feature next time. Keep in mind this is like the Chevy vs Ford, Budweiser vs Coors, Red vs Blue debates. Both sides bring a lot to the table, and neither is wrong. It all comes down to preference and what YOU experience. J
