Desperate need of some help
I would do that If I had another sub that was working... the mayhem has bad coils and the Zv4 had burned leads so I need to recone them both. I used an Alpine sub free air that my friend had and the voltage drop to low 14s at 2 ohm which still doesnt seem right. Possibl you damaged the amp when you bbq'd the mayhem. J

His truck would be a mess on anything but roads I think, based on his upgrades. AWD for him is only for the driveway I bet. 24" wouldn't be horrible. Valid points. I kno mine came stock with 18" rims and a option for 20". I have looked at rims for mine, but noting screamed out 'buy me'. J

I had a para 1911. Was not a fan of it due to the weight. Felt off balance with anything over or under a half mag. J

You know renting is better than buying unless the area is absolutely fab.I wouldn't rent in an area that wasn't either. If I would not buy a house in the area, I will not rent in the area. Makes no sense to me to rent in the hood, but then buy upscale. Rent there first, and see if its for you. If so, then buy a house. Hell I can find some nice homes with a pool for a few hundred extra a mth. Is it worth it? Eh, kind of. Makes it nice when you don't want to deal with tourists, or you want to go skinny dipping. I just look at the area and what else is offered at that price range as well. J

Here in St Pete a house for 200k is often 2-4 beds and about 1600-2100 sq ft depending on the area. Go across the innercoastal water way, and watch 200k get you 1000 sq ft if you are lucky and it is run down and surrounded by 2 other homes. J

I can see that point. I am perfectly fine with tile. I just hate carpet with a passion. Having a dog brings that feeling out even stronger. Some of the homes at 1350 are valued at 200k others not so much. Hell the last rental I had was 1040 a mth and when they purchased it paid about 75k. Added new carpet and the cheapest washer, dryer, fridge, stove and dish washer the could find. The fridge's ice maker and water dispenser did not work at all, and the dishwasher was piss poor at best. Add in the lack of kitchen space, and I despised it. I listed to the lady saying she liked it. The garage and fenced back yard were huge positives for me. J

You stain shifty carpet, I can probably clean it. Your dog's nails or your furniture Fuck up my hardwood or tile I'm fucked. Have to get hardwood resurfaced or the tile replaced.... It you can find that tile. Also carpet covers imperfections. If the floor is not perfect it's hard to tell. You can use floating floors, but that's the same as tile IMHO. Is that not where the security deposit comes in? At 1350 plus whatever extra the pet is (usually 100-500 for a dog 75lbs) I would imagne that would cover a little nick or scratch in the tile or wood. I just despise carpet in a huge way. J

Question for those who own rentals. WHY THE FUCK DO YOU PUT DOWN CHEAP SHITTY CARPET??? Looking for a new place to rent as i go through school, and I am finding some great homes, at a bit excessive prices, that have fucking carpet. Yet places with more sq footage, closer to the beach, keep tile or hardwood all over and charge double the price (again closer to the beach and bigger, that make sense) I guess at 1350 a mth or less I am asking too much for no carpet, 2+bedrooms and a garage. Are the Seymour Duncan's active pickups? Imagine that made a big difference. Love the blue color with the cross hatch pattern! The chrome doesn't suck either. Very sexy!!They are passive, but no noise so I don't need active Quite a sharp guitar. I already told the lady that once we buy a house I want an office that I can cover in guitars, concert photos and old records. J

The owner has his personal collection of 70's-mid 90's Dean's on display in a seperate room, with no duplicates (some are just minor pickups changes) and numbers above 400. Add in the production room (about 150-200 between the Dean and Luna guitars) and that is quite a bit of what they have. Not to mention the lobby and the collection of Dimebag's guitars and so on. Plus the amount being made, tuned, and cleaned up. The custom shop was amazing. I would love to work there if I wasn't going for the AS in Substance abuse. J

Visiting one of my best friends in Orlando for a few days before SBN in Daytona. If you get bored I can call my cousin in Fort Myers and you can check out his car collection. Thanks as that would be very cool, but Jen is so much fun I am not sure I am going to have time to venture off. Ok Wish I had a worth while wrestling sho to invite you to come see while you are down here. I am managing or reffing (I'll find out at bell time) on the 21st in Auburndale (about 20 mins from Orlando). If you two decide to go to St Petersburg or Tampa, please don't hesitate to call me. Would be great to get together and have a drink. J

I found myself messing with a few Dean guitars today in the demo room. Their collection of current models, and vintage models/poor sellers is INSANE!!! The cost for a custom is insane, yet still cheaper than their top of the line guitar. J

Happy Birthday Jordan!! (Godsmack)
Thanks guys!! Spent the day touring the Dean guitar factory, and having dinner/a little gambling at the Hard Rock Cafe. All in all a nice day. J

The Seymour Duncan's are a huge improvement, the actual Floyd Rose has a whammy bar that doesn't piss me off, and the sustain rocks.Playability is improved as well. My tone is tighter, fingerings better, harmonics more natural and less muted and the detail is better across the strings.Looks like she plays like a raped ape. Just shocked that is the Floyd Rose, as I had not seen a chrome one.Great snag Sean!!!!JList price as configured is well above $4k. Definitely a real Rose. Not sure the real Rose is as good as the Schaller though. Mostly in the threads.I went back and forth on the chrome. Configured nearly exactly this guitar at the Custom Shop...but obviously wouldn't spend that on an axe. Decided the chrome looked the best with the MOP and frets. Black is too boring on the transparent blue body. All valid points Sean. The most important thing is that this guitar works for you!!! J

i wish I would have had my camera with the day I went guitar shopping you'd shit. I did bring it today when I picked up the axe though. Took a few pictures, but negotiating a really small store with my luggage, guitar and camera out was not easy.Think they had 50 Warwicks at least...I have a feeling I would shit over the collection. My next big guitar thing is touring the Dean guitar factory thursday afternoon. Might go visit Guitar Center tomorrow too. Just for fun. J

As a side note, I am going back to quitting smoking. Started back up at the gym today, and noticed that my strength is gone. I figure I need to quit my worst habit, so bye bye cigs. I'll use the vape when the craving gets too much, but trying to avoid that too. Be happy, I am smoking my last cig with you guys as I type this. J
