Lemme see here....do they have horses fight to the death? Do they use electrocution for training purposes? Are they hung, or drowned when they don't perform? the answer to these is NO pucking WAY Hose racing, hell even dog racing is much different than fighting. Just like in humans there is a MADD difference between a boxer and lance armstrong. Diff training methods, payouts, and such. J in true pit fighting, the fights aren't to the death. never were. it's always been the back street pits, the basement arena's where dogs had to fight to the death. even in hogging, it's not the goal for the dog to kill the hog, but rather to subdue. same with dog against dog. but to some, that wasn't enough entertainment. and you bet your ass they use electrocution in horse training. they even use it for training of police dogs. (shock collers with settings up to 50k volts or so). i myself use a 100k taser to help in training. hit a dog one time and from that moment on, the moment they HEAR the thing pop, they stop and listen. and i'll wager that horses that don't perform are indeed being eaten as purina. maybe not drowned or hung, but euthanised nonetheless. however, because it isn't done in such a brutal manner, none notices. and it would be easy to have a vet say the horse had a broken fibia or some chit. and lance would kill most boxers. very few boxers could hang with lance in his training. and even in boxing, it's the core that matters, ie: legs, lungs and abs. how many boxers are going to match lance in those areas? while i get your point, you're also a bit underinformed. in truth, dog fighting isn't much different then a pair of boxers going at it, save the boxers are there by choice. if done right, as soon as a dog backs up, doesn't show aggression, or lays down, the fight is over. and in those cases, the dogs don't get anymore hurt then someone going 10 rds with mike tyson. ask evander holyfield, lol. (sorry, just had too) do i support dog fighting? nope. the dogs i raise wouldn't even be allowed in a pit due to their color. and we breed for minimum aggression, amongst dogs and people. we let their natural protection instinct dictate their protective attitude, no added attention or training is given in that regard. anyway, Vick is guilty or he wouldn't plea. if he was a real man, he would have told the truth from the jump instead of thinking his posse wouldn't have turned. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Take a lightweight or bantomweight and I TRULY think they could hang. Now like Tyson, Holyfield, or someone like that? No prayer. What I mean about electrocution is MUCH different man. I am talking about deadly electrocution not training level. And yes electrocution is used in much training. Also I know dog fighting it was originally for submission and not death. But that all changed as attitudes changed.......... I guess all I am saying is horses who don't ALWAYS win = cheaper studding. SOMETIMES WIN OR 2ND= more $$$ Dogs fail=death pass=stud $$$ J
