Yea sorry, guess i wasnt specific (sp) enough. Basicly atm im looking for a good driver(s) that will handle 1000rms and give me a 4 ohm load. Its only going to be use for music, not h/t. I have no real restriction on air space, so basicly the enclosure can be as big as it needs to be. Just would prefer to keep it around 250-300 shipped. Corey

Well i have a Dayton HPSA1000 plate amp that been sitting here for some time now and its time to put it to use. Well my next is looking for a driver or drivers. I have tons of air space so this is not a porblem. Due to most of my money going to a different build im going to have to limit my budget for driver or drivers to 300 shipped. With the lack of budget i been considering a single 18 set up (Mach 5 IXL 18.4, FI SSD, etc). Any suggestions, im not limited to anything as long as it fits my needs? Corey

Elemental Designs Nine.1 Sundown Audio SAE-1000D IMHO i would go w/ sundown just for the customer servies. I wouldnt support ED after i sent a sub in to get warrentied and never got it back and they claim a new one was sent to me but yet they couldnt provider me with a tracking number .

Scott/Nick, I got a recone kit from you the other day and went to recone it for a customer and took the tape of the motor for the first time and the top plate on the motor seems to have shifted . Now onto the question, if i send the motor in could you reset the top plate? Corey

Me too, going to sand and paint my horn lens this weekend. Just need to order my phl mids then i will be set for mids and highs ... other then amps. Any closer eta on the 250.2? Corey

Intresting, i never would have thought about using a phone cord y splitter. I plan on using a rca style universal bass knob but this will be easier. Corey

The SAX and SAZ lines are rated at 12.8 volts. The SAE line is rated at 13.8 volts. Corey
