  1. I've been wanting to build one of these for a long time http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j88/vacextar/P4030273.jpg
  2. It sounds a little funny that someone in the industry could blow two diffferent subs with out any indication that they were about to blow. Unless both subs had mechanical defects on the coils allowing them to come apart. Which could be possible but unlikely. I don't care if the subs had rated power, 2,500 watts of power, clipped signal, unclipped signal, too big of a box, to small of a box, or even if they were plugged into a 120 volt ac outlet, the coils would first heat up the glue holding them together causing a burning smell, which most everyone would smell and think to themselves, I might want to turn off my system and have a looksee.
  3. they are very efficient subwoofers. I wil post plenty of videos and spl results from a termlab using a wide range of encosures. I am also looking into a shallow mount sub, and a higher end sub with an unheard off xmax, but those will have to wait till my Genisis line is established.
  4. My protypes should be here this week from Dan Wiggins. Right now I can say they will be using his xbl^s technology in the motor structure, will have a nearly flat BL curve, have nearly 25mm of one way excursion, 31mm of one way mechanical clearance, and retail between $300 and $350
  5. I will not be doing any new enclosures till May or June of this year. I am waiting on some prototypes for a line of subwoofers I will have availiable this fall, and will be very busy getting them off the ground. And to keep up with production of custom enclosures and the pre-engineered enclosures I will be offering I am going to purchase a CNC router. So as soon as I get everything in order I will begin taking orders again. I will however be around and if anyone has any question about anything shoot me an e-mail or give me a call.
  6. it was $470 with shipping which was around 150 bucks. And because I had to go to Haiti for a week and delayed the build process I gave them a big discount.
  7. it's just a cheap camera it looks much cleaner in person
  8. I'll have some pix up this weekend and finished pics by Tuesday. I had to use to ports so I could center the plexiglass in the enclosure, and I couldn't wrap the port around the back wall because plexi is going there also.
  9. give me a day or two and I will draw something up for you. Do you need a cut list also?
  10. tuned to 32 hertz. It's best to strat a topic stating what you need. I stay so busy sometimes I miss my voicemails.
  11. you will want to place the seam toward the bottom, the "V" keeps the seam from spreading.
  12. here's what I use. just beat it with a hammer and it produces a really nice crimp. This one was purchased from metra nut I believe select products has one similar for around 30 bucks.
  13. A normal slot port will run $196.10 and a kerffed port would be $213.20 shipped to your door.
  14. I guess that is a go ahead. I'll have some update photos in a couple of days for you.
  15. As stated above my pricing is pinned. Just add 15 percent to the price if you prefer a kerffed port. shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] and I can give a quote on the enclosure with shipping. My pricing on the xcons are the same as ssa so it would be faster to just order straight from them.
  16. yea this if for the four door. It's a perfect fit
  17. My pricing is the same as SSA. I am so swamped right now it would be faster to order it from Mark.
  18. there two vents on each corner on the back wall about 4x6 inches each. They will have to come out to fit the enclosure. This will leave a whole in the back wall which will need to be covered so water doesn't get into the cabin. And yes I would take IA over RE
  19. tes sir I have done several
  20. pull out the plastic vents on the back wall and cover them with sound deadener. ( there is some factory material on the back wall behind the carpet you can use) Make the enclosure 52" wide, as tall, and as deep as the 10's. Put the subs on the passenger side and the port on the driver side. The port should be around 1.5 wide, 10.5 tall, and around 29 long for tuned to 34 hertz. Using 1/2 inch mdf
  21. Two Incriminator 187 10's ported behind the back seat is going to be the best set-up for your budget
