  1. You're moving too slow! Lol he's just ensuring good wood glue adhesion.
  2. First set of Ethos 18's right there
  3. Don't just calculate your "work time". If your away from home at a hotel run your time away from the family around the clock and see what the pay looks like. Trust the word of someone that has worked 70-90 hrs a week. It's not worth it no matter the money.
  4. started design work on the rear half of the chassis. Will be 2x2 x 1/4 wall steel tubing.
  5. Don't take this as condescending, as I think this an important question. Does the military not offer trained specialists to help with this sort of thing. Even if not on active duty if there is even the slightest Chance of you guys having to go out and risk you life y'all should have the best specialists available to ensure you are in the best shape possible.
  6. Lots of overtime. Not worth it. Once you hit 32 hours overtime in a week you start making nearly the same as straight time. Over 40 your making less than straight time. I got a little OT experience. ~1,500 hrs OT last year. I work 7 on 2 off 12hrs with between 2 and 4 hrs drive time per day.
  7. It'll be all good by the time I'm finished with it.
  8. I'd like to see it do 60's on music.
  9. wonder who the anonymous follower is
  10. spent about 30 min pulliing out a lot of unimportant stuff today and found this, I guess I have a good reason to do what I wanted to do. Tub the back chassis. More than likely just use 7,500 lb trailer spindles. I figure I'll be able to get a good 10-15 baterries back there with the tub. Also going to scrap the gas tank and put in a 5 gallon fuel cell.
  11. not a bad score. over twice the power and about 2 db higher than the scores steve showed yall
  12. I have received lots of emails asking how to join Team DSS so I am posting the stipulations to join below. DSS only wants dedicated team member that are highly involved in the industry. The below rules will insure this. 1) TEAM DSS IS BY INVITATION ONLY. (purchasing DSS product alone does NOT make you eligible for the team.) 2) INTERESTED COMPETITORS MUST HAVE ATTENDED AND RAN AT THE PREVIOUSLY YEARS FINALS. 3) THE MOST IMPORTANT STIPULATION. INTERESTED COMPETITORS MUST BE REFEREED BY CURRENT TEAM MEMBERS. MEANING IF A COMPETITOR IS INTERESTED A CURRENT TEAM MEMBER MUST CONTACT DDS AND PERSONALLY REFER THE COMPETITOR. 4) COMPETITORS THAT ARE ELIGIBLE TO JOIN THE TEAM MUST COMPLETE A NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT. NOTE THAT THE NDA IS A BINDING CONTRACT THAT PROTECTS BOTH THE COMPETITOR AND DSS COMPANY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, INFORMATION, TRADE SECRETS, AND OR PRICING. COMPETITORS THAT DO NOT MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF THE CONTRACT WILL BE SUBJECT TO PENALTIES OF FEDERAL LAW. ANY AND ALL PM'S, EMAILS, AND OR PHONE CALLS REGARDING JOINING THE TEAM FROM NON-TEAM MEMBERS WILL BE IGNORED.
  13. official team logo added to top
  14. Should be crazy! When do you think this will be getting startedIn a few weeks. First thing is to rip out the interior and dash. Then build the roll cage. Then pull the motor and trans for an overhaul then remove the ac for a dual alt set up. It'll be a few months before I even get to the system. The car will be built strictly as a demo vehicle and won't be street legal. I'll more than likely have to make the rear suspension solid to handle all the weight. I'm looking at nearly 800 lbs of sub alone. I figure the car will weight around 4500-5000 pounds when complete. If I can get the alternators on it il run 8 tridents on 32k
  15. Did a little measuring and something like this will fit. 12 inch subs in black and driver port in blue. I should still have room for 8 group 35's and amps behind the box.
  16. ??? slacking on the videos
  17. it's a whipple charger just like the hellcat. It's always on boost. Also the hellcat uses flaps after the mufflers like the vette zo6
  18. here's a roe viper with corsa's. forward to 1 min. same effect. It's the straight flow design of the corsa. Very common.
