  1. If you want to stay with a 6x8 I like the Kicker KS series Focal 570CA1. The Kickers run 120 retail and the Focal 300 retail
  2. What is the project for? Tsunami has four levels of power wire and they are all different by fractions of a millimeter. Then there is Raptor that has four or five lines. Kicker also has two lines. The thickness can also very slightly batch to batch in the same line. Even on the same spool it can differ. I can use a caliper to measure some different ones tomorrow if you need precise measurements.
  3. ummm my last demo truck had 48 under it. I've installed about 4 or 5 hundred pair under vehicles. If you are looking for great sound Kicker makes awsome set of 6.5 components that fit well into the factory soundbar. If you are looking for a budget pair Bazooka has some durable 6.5, 6x9, and 8"
  4. I don't have any plans on hand but if It's: 40/60 it'll have the bars under the seat. The best set-up I 've done was a twelve ported downfired on the driver side with the enclosure streching across tho the passenger side. If you let the magnet protrude through the top of the enclosure and fiberglass a "bubble" to cover it you can get about 7 inches of mounting depth and still have 1 1/2 between the sub and the floor. I do believe I raised the seat 1/2 with washers though. bench seat you will have 54 inches wide, 7 inches at the front of the seat, 5 1/2 inches at the rear of the seat and 19 inches on each side of the center hump. again if you are doing SSA subs you will have to make a bubble to let the magnets protrude out the top of the enclosure. two tens ported work very well. You'll have about 2.5 cubes to work with with out raising the seat any.
  5. yikes. get this man a beer. cold. no, no, no, keep ur alkihol. I had alcohol poisioning when I was 15. Drank 1/2 gallon of Everclear at 110 pounds of bodyweight. I was in a coma for two weeks from lack of oxygen to the brain and stayed in the hospital for a month. I haven't touched a drink since. Doctors said if I would have gotten to the hospital a few hours later than I did I would have died.
  6. And I installed four AG cameras in a 56 foot horse trailer. My day started at 5:00 this morning. Work 6 hours, answer e-mails during lunch for two hours then work another 7 hours.
  7. from the bottom: DR 15 heavyweight 15 dual 10 ICONS
  8. I know it'll fit. Will it be to the "perfect desired specs"? No, but if two 15's can squeeeeezzzzzeeee in I know one will. The opening from the seat is acually smaller than the trunk opening. We tried that, didn't work.
  9. i'll take some pics tonight of the enclosure and the subs.
  10. I would still go with the xcon. I was just showing it can fit. People might say the box is too small but as you can see in the video they were moving some air. And these subs were facing towards the seat not towards the back. The box was 32 wide, 16 tall, and 24 deep. tuned to 38 hertz. It ws a tight fit but it made it.
  11. I'll have you some pics this evening
  12. there was a delay on the building of the subs he should have them in the next day or two.
  13. Take a look at the link two Kicker L7 15's ported. This was subs forward port out the side. I still have the enclosure here. he upgradedto a 21 so I can measure the box if you like. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...ideoid=47019929
  14. We changed high's amp for a Focal and I'm expecting it tomorrow. She'll be done by next weekend.
  15. Yep yep very little BS around here.
  16. Well I normally put in a 12 to 14 hour day. I'm most than likely having lunch around the time you are gettin out the bed LOL
  17. sound slike you might have a defective or dirty radio. Try a laser lens cleaning kit.
  18. I will extend this to everyone. The only thing I would have to add would be the difference in shipping if shipping would be more to you than California. So if shipping to you would be 100 and shipping to California would be 90, You would only pay $10 in shipping.
  19. The last time I talked to Dave was in 2005 at CES. I think he is retired. I haven't seen or heard anything from him in a long time.
  20. I got a old punch 45 that's still blister packed in the card board box t and a never used Rockford symetry.
  21. The store name sound familiar. The reason I know all the old times I was a manager at Mobile One auto sound in New Orleans. At the time we were the largest buyer of ALpine and Rockford in the nation. I think we were purchasing like 60 grand dealer cost of each every month. So we were lucky enough to have these guys at our disposal. I was able to go to several RTTI trainings, a few traings with Brian Smicth(SP?), a few trainings with Fishman, went to Alpines F-1 status training and went to CES and SEMA several times atthe expense ofAlpine and Rockford to mingle with everyone.
