They are 2 12" Punch HX2's going into the Altima and the Orion H2 is going into the 240. That box is so tiny about 1.75 cu ft sealed but they rocked now I am going ported. The box building will start tomorrow.

I just got my 12" H2 but I have spent to much funds lately. I still have to get my components and an amp for the components. I really wanted to get a 2500 amp but its not going to happen for now. So do you think I will be missing out a lot by getting a 1200 amp? I will be running it in a 1.5 cu ft sealed enclosure.

I finally took some pics of my cars there is nothing impressive yet still gathering equipment for both. I traded my new Viper 1200.1 for a Hifonics 1500 and Orion H2 12" + cash. I do not have pics of my Eclipse 8443 yet because I left it in the store so they can install it in my 240SX when I am ready gotta have the 3 year warranty. I am trying to decide whether to upgrade to the 8053 and get the BLA and run Cadence amps depends on funding. As of now I intend to get the Orion P.6 and the Orion 6002 if I do not get the Cadence. I was going to wait until I finished both installs but I said what the Hell... The Pics are for my '97 Altima and '90 240SX. I also have a '01 BMW 3 series (in Japan) that is strictly for when I am in Japan my mother-in-law rides in style but this summer I will go back and take pictures... I will start building my box tomorrow and laying the ground work for my Altima. My Webpage

Well so many have been touched upon already so here I go Cadence- an unbelievable protect. Viper- So far its been ok to me havent had it long enough to judge Focal- Pretty much near perfect components Eclipse- So far its been ok to me havent had it long enough to judge RF- Love my subs RF Amps- Can not understand why the amps are not fused great power to much heat though :ugh: Sony HU- If you can get the right one with proper voltage and ohms the features are fantastic gets to hot but does its job never had a problem till recently RE- what can i say that has not been said before! Orion- will find out soon enough! B)

The box looks to small from what I see. It would seem that there is very little internal volume probably causeing the sub to pop or sound peaky.

Its a 12 definitley no room for the 15. My budget has been drained from both cars. I want to get the car right the first time as much as possible do not want to deal with regrets.... I did a lot of regreting the first time around and I refuse to do it this time! Maybe you did answer this somewhere else De Ja Vu??

You are going up to the 2k power? I was considering the Orion 1200d but if I need to get the 2500d i will try. Does anyone need a babysitter or the lawn cut??

I just wanted your professional opinion my inverted box design. I was given a suggestion of maybe tunning lower. For 2 Punch HX2 subs.

Space was a concern. W23 H16 D17. I do not have 3cuft after speaker displacement, and port displacement. Since the width gets wider as you go up I figured I can gain some space going upward.

Well the good thing is my Width is 23 at the base but goes up to at least 30 something so I may be able to do something with that. Your suggestion would be about 3cu ft after speaker displacement and port displacement. The power is not an issue though for me honestly. I will post a pic of the hatch. Will that improve my chances of the 3 cu ft?

I am so ever close to posting pics of my Altima. The 240 is just in the begining stage right now only have the HU right now.

Wow thats a lot of power. I could have sworn they said it wouldnt need that much power for daily drive..

I guess I will try to get the H2 then. People have been saying its on par with the XXX and Brahma. Slightly underneath those 2...

Dear Mr. DE, Thank you for sponsoring my 240. It is great to be part of the Adire Team.. I wish I could get either one of those subs but thats extending the budget to the realm of divorce and so far I am tip toeing on that line right now... I still have to get my amps and components as well. Fortunately I am running only a HU components Subs and there amps. I have the 3 S's Simple, Sweet, and SQ. Thanks for the reply DE..

Now that my Altima is almost done just gotta build my enclosure and waiting for my Viper 1200.1. I just got my HU for the 240 the 8443. I am looking for a new sub for my 240. I have been battling for a while on what to get. I am looking for the LSQ. I've been waiting patiently to decide. I did have the RE HC first thought it was too large for my car so I got the SE decided that was too small so I was going back to the HC. But the whole time I have been intrigued by the Orion H2. So I wanted to get your feedback. The dimensions for my 240 is W23 H16 D17. The enclosure again will be a circle port due to the small space involved. The power to the subs either one will most likely be 1200rms to 1500rms. I have not selected the amp yet until I get the sub. I am heavily leaning towards an all Orion install.

I bought my HU today for my 240. I decided on the Eclipse 8443. I intended to get the 8053 with BLA but I just bought the Viper 1200.1 for my Altima.

So here is the design that I am going with let me know your opinion. The subs are inverted do the fact I did not have the internal volume. Please post comments suggestions complaints etc...

I have been running these subs in a sealed enclosure now I want to try ported. I am trying to build an LSQ ported enclosure for my 12" HX2 DVC 4ohm subs. I have downloaded the manual and searched the forum history. It seems that they are missing some numbers. I was wondering did anyone have a complete listing. For ex. there isnt any Qes,Qms etc.. If anyone has done a nice LSQ set up for these subs I am would love to have suggestions. I was thinking of tuning it to the low 30's. This is going into a '97 Altima off a Viper 1200.1 H W D 17 38 13.5 (BottomD 18+TopD 9)=27/2=13.5 1.5 1.5 1.5 15.5 36.5 12 * 6789/1728= 3.9288 My plan was to have the subs face the trunk but have the port in the middle facing that back of the seats. I want the port to aim in the ski rack hole so it goes straight into the car. Is this a good idea? Could it be done? Thank you in advance for your help.

What would the port be for the HC if it was circular? I do not have the space to do the slot port.
