We will have them up soon. Neither will be all too far off from the original Dcon. I never knew what the originals were. :/ Just looking to see how close these are to the 2nd Gen X series sub from Fi, since these have a similar motor to those. I loved the 2nd Gen X from Fi.

What's up internet? I checked out the show at JC's Tint & Alarm. There was a good turn out, lots of new faces along with the regulars. Here is a little of what I saw. I saw this little guy there. A whole lotta woofer stuffed in the trunk. Then I came across this beauty. This is what it was packing Clean amp install in this one. A couple of batteries in there for good measure. This was there too. Didn't see it in the lanes though. Just for show I guess. I got a demo from this guy. This is what he had in the back. A pair of Sundown 12" Zv4. It sounded great. Plenty of bass, even in that minivan cabin. Up next was this feller. Nice efficent setup. 2 DC Audio Level 3 on a Sundown SAZ1500. Metered a 145 and change. A close up of the woofers. I saw all this goodness packed into a late 90's Chevy extended cab pickup Nice little custom center console It had this "in your face" custom dash too. My buddy Jon rolled up in his blazer packing these bad boys. I metered it earlier in the week. It threw down a 140.7@37Hz of a Bazooka MGA11000. That's a 1000 watt amp. A little Rockford Fosgate action in the back of a new Impala. This one had and AQ3500, subs unknown, I couldn't see. Volkswagon Golf R32 CT Sounds powering it all in the Golf Sundown making their presence know in San Antonio Local heavy hitter here. Cant go wrong here. A regular at soundoffs, Kevin from Austin rolled in a 2000-something Tahoe packing four DC Audio Level 5 15s on a DC Audio 10K. This bish slammed. Best demo of the show. Its a shame to see subs like the Ascendant Audio Assassin and the 2nd gen Fi X subs go. Wish i wouldve held on to the ones I had. They were/are surprisingly capable subs. Any word on what the future might hold?

No not at all man. I made this post for two things. A, to prove the testament of the build quality of the driver. And the B, to hopefully have this tinsel lead issue addressed. I love this fucking sub man haha, and will always stand behind it. Awesome sub indeed. As for getting the tinsel lead issue addressed, about the only way to fix that, is to switch to an amp with better mosfet switching filtering. Try a JBL GTi 6000 or a pair of Rockford t4000.

Just to throw it out there but these would be woofers i would consider: JBL 2204H Eminence Definimax 12 and just for laughs Dayton Audio Designer 12 To power these bishes go with a JL Audio HD600/4, bridged and at 8 ohms it'll do 300 watts. Good luck.

I've looked at the 4.3 in depth. I would remake the whole braket. It would be pretty nutty, but thats the only way i see it being done. I dont really see where an add on braket could be placed. Lemme look some more.
