So for enclosure design, 36" wide x 20" high x 20"deep top 24"deep bottom 4.5" slot port tuned to 33hz. 6.0ft^3 after displacement and bracing. Any opinions? Chad

I'm looking for Idea's for enclosure. Mark for Mach 5 suggests 5.5-6 ft^3 off the top of my head I have 20" high x 24" deep x 49" wide thats staying between the wheel wells. I'm going out now to measure. Thanks Shogen, and she said no people just curbs and imports....... haha Chad

Current system: Alpine 9885 RF power 6.5 coax (only off deck) RF P2 12 in 1ft^3 sealed center console Eclipse xa 1000 (sub amp) The plan: Alpine 9885 RF power 6.5 PG Tantrum 400.4 Mach 5 audio Mj 18 M 4dvc 6 ft^3 tuned to 32-35 hz (Hvae heard blowthoughs lower tuning?) PG Tantrum 1200.1 She listens to mostly R&B and Rap so I think this should make her happy for the time being. I'll upload pics as I can Weather and work will determine how quickly this gets done. as always I am open to any suggestions or comments. Thanks Chad

This is when a cap. works well. When even a cheap 1/2 farad cap is wired in with the headlights it eliminates the very small voltage changes that effects your headlights. I have seen small 4 channel amps effect headlights. A lot of newer vehicals you can really notice very small voltage changes in the headlights. Just my opinion/and what I have done. Chad

I think you'll need to add a little more info. Such as sealed? ported? tuned to? what music you listen to most? goals? power available? and so on... Just my opinion. Chad

One thing you might want to check is if there is enough clearence inside the box for the magnet. The sub are pretty deep but I know some of the underseat enclosures are limited by the magnet diameter as well. You may be vibrating the back of the magnet off the inside of the box, that may be why the sound is less or goes away when you push on it. Just another thing to check. Good luck Chad

How many feet did you pull? Looked good I pulled 204ft. there was a very sink hole at 200feet 1st pulled 222ft he had really aggressive tires. I am happy with the pull. not bad for a daily driver with a banging system in it. Chad

I pulled my truck, I got 4th out of 25 trucks. I needed more aggressive tires was real muddy. Here is the vid. Let me know what ya think. Chad

No motor noise, however when pushed to limit you get a little tinsel slap. But that only when pushed to hard. Chad

I have been thinking of different designs. Is there any issues with mounting a subwoofer in the inside port wall facing the port? I know the velocity from the port would be directed across the face of the sub, would this cause cancellation? Or would it depend on volume of the port? Any input is appreciated. Chad
