  1. Yes, the dome or boob cap is probably what we need to move to on the Xcon. We had sourced full Carbon Fiber dish caps that cost us a lot. They were all rejected and we are still awaiting replacements well over a year later. The reason for the possible move to dome caps is due to people unloading their Xcon's from time to time and that extra high pressure has occasionally caused a failure in the center of the full dish cap. So since we prefer to have all our subwoofers overbuilt to help account for use and abuse past their intended design, we either need to move to a very expensive full Carbon Fiber cap (which will increase the price of the Xcon) or we need to transistion to the same cap the Zcon uses. I vote carbon fiber because It looks AMAZING. At least from the custom ones Ive seen.
  2. Are you still having issues with the B2s making power? Ive really been looking at switching to the zero.7's but if they don't do as well as expected, it might not be worth it.
  3. Had to relocate the fill door switch here The passenger side panel needs to be redone because I'm not happy with it, the the drivers side came out nice though. I made it super thick and my door flex isn't quite as bad now. Needs body filler and a little more work but it's close to being finished. also update on the build, money is super tight right now because work has been slow. Definitely buying the powder coated white singer 370 with a voltage regulator bypass as soon as I get my taxes back. Second most expense single thing in my build at a little over 900$. After that another BC3500 for now.
  4. ive been trying too. havnt found a good spot where i can without the police showing up after a few minutes. i might try again in the morning though I live in a smallish city also, but luckily the cops are very shorthanded and the only time I ever get pulled over for bass is from undercovers. maybe try driving outside the city?
  5. wow senchez your builds gonna be amazing. so clean.
  6. Crazy build you have going there senchez! I look forward to hearing it someday
  7. Makes me think I want the new wardens again... considering how underrated these are. I bought a 21in warden at one point but canceled my order and bought another SP4. might have to buy two 21s.. its so tempting.
  8. Crazy set up, definitely want to hear it when its done.
  9. So they take all that power no problem with just 1 ns1?
  10. Really nice build, I'm jelly.
  11. Gonna be around 4-4.5 feet. I still have to extrapolate parameters. Why is it that your subs are on the very small side as far as enclosure recommendations? almost half what most companies recommend for similar woofers. Just curiosity.
  12. Good stuff. Thick, sticks well foil is thinner than the sound deadener showdown tiles. So it's easier to work with. Comes in big ass sheets too. Ahh I think ill stick to SDS then. thanks for the info
  13. how do you like the b2 deadener?
  14. exactly why there shouldn't be threads asking these things..
  15. picture of the 3/4in all thread going in, and just got the first coat of resin on it and some glass.
  16. if I was to take a guess, I'd say cost, maybe. For me the team sub came out after I bought them, and I personally love the sound of the SP4. Ive never heard a team sub to know whether it carried over the same sound quality and response, so to me it wasnt worth all the time and money to do.
  17. Your not going to hear much of difference in the lows between the two in the same enclosure on the same amount of power. I would just keep with the team subs if I were you.
  18. Thanks next week ill be ordering a SPL lab meter, and we will see what kind of numbers it can throw up at its current stage. Then I still have to order a DC 270, two more PM1s, 4 runs from the alt to the batteries, order another 3500, tint the rest of the windows, and seal off the wall the rest of the way. I almost forgot I still need to glass the doors and put the Neo pros in... I have a lot of work to do.. Thats the plan.
  19. Yeah I just realized that, their sensors are pretty reasonably priced.. Might have to get one, no one here has a decent meter. Last competition I went to several people were supposedly doing 155s with 2 12s in a trunk... Not sure the power but the meter was way off.
  20. Or go to amazon and its $259.99 I always check amazon for everything..
  21. That looks great, I'm glad I said something haha.
