I have read a million different posts on the various ways to set it....but ....I just wanted to get an idea where you guys have yours set at.... I am running a Pioneer 880prs 5 volt deck and the gain is currently straight up 12 O'clock position or halfway.... I havnt had it installed a week yet and barely spent any time in it yet....so its still in adjust phase but I at this moment can turn the deck up to max volume and its not distorting to me...so I am wondering if I can turn the gains any more or if I am already past where it should be at... I really hate amps not having clipping indicators ...it would be much easier to set with them

I emailed him about 4 weeks ago and asked about the ESX compared to the current outgoing models... I stated that the ESX was avery complex piece due to the all the flexibility to it and whatnot..we all know what I mean... And he said " it was , until now"....he then said he was working on a new line and they would be his best yet ever..... so who knows what he is going to come up with...

I installed it today and well I am a little suprised how much I had to turn the gain up... I have an Eclipse 8 volt deck and I figured I would leave the amp all the way down...well that was wrong...I had to move it about 1/4 to get any volume..... With gain set to 8volts I could turn the volume all the way to 80 on the deck and it was still rather low... on a side note ...one of the channels is blown so I am going to have to pay to have it fixed or get the seller to take it back..I just got it last Monday... but anyhow....I was expecting to not have to touch the gain with the 8volts deck...thats really the only reason I have the deck.... was I crazy? ....right now I have it set about 1/3 way clockwise....

why is the back of this one signed by Steve yet you didnt mention it? Did you buy this off Ebay recently cause I saw it for sale....not that it matters...I was just suprised.. bump.... wish I had the cash...it would match my Draconia nicely

yeah thats what I would do myself in your shoes....but I was offering you a chance to have 2 of them..... I am moving to Zed amps for that reason...if I need something fixed I can email him and he emails back..personal response on a one on one basis....cant beat that...

I got an email from him yesterday and he didnt give details , just that it would be good..better than current model lineup.....thats fantastic.

I got the email this morning.... So is that a regular Gladius or a BB gladius? is that after you are done ordering or have you actually ordered it...? I had bought one from a person and then it got cancelled cause it needs to go in for repair ......but now I got bug again ....and funds that are owed to me havnt been paid to me yet so I cant pull triger....

ARCs are sold...well 1 is sold ....other is waiting on money transfer to me... thats why I have the urge to get them now...at least 1 duece.... I got some other stuff working so I am trying to wait too clear that up....I have a PG Son Of Frank I want to test 1st and I also have a couple of "cheap" amps.... I guess its hard to cough up $458 for an amp even as good as the Duece Mike

I know that double power will give something like 3db gain in volume...is that about right? could be way off...I read it before long time ago.. I want to have plenty of power not necessarily use it but I beleive in headroom for when I need it ..like horespower..

nobody wants to chime in on this?

I was all set to buy a couple of Zeds and then had a change of plans...well ....after lots of money and not even using half of the amps I did buy, I am on the verge of getting the Zeds after all.....if I do it will be a Zed Duece and a monolith or Gladius... I currently have a ARC 4150xxk & ARC 1500xxk and quite frankly like them but I am still haunted by not getting the Duece... I must first sell a Son of Frankampenstien which is a limited edition 4 channel PG amp and a rare amp(500 made) . I am getting this one a trade as nobody had cash for my new PG ZPA 0.5 monster 2 channel.. I am wanting to know what you had before you got the ZEd amps and what your impression is....also need to know if you got BB upgrade.... to Denim...forgive me for not buying 1st time...I told you I would be back.......

plans changed...for now I am not getting them...I will soon ..just not yet..

I didnt know that you and DENIM were one in the same.... I am just ready to ge this ssystem installed....my 8250 has been in my closet over a year...and my Elites are tired of waiting on me as well If I dont get it in the car soon something may happen and I might have to sell it all..... been looking around at info on the Zed stuff and people got me all anxious to get my hands on these now.... I need to know if the gladius is strong enough for your needs or not... I am planning on running one to a pair of PG Elite components . I dont want to be short on power but I also cant afford to spend $400 an amp..... I am trying to decide between the Gladius and maybe another PG amp...Xenon maybe unless I can get a good older PG... I would really like to buy one of these new Zed amps..or 2...

Mee too....I am going to install them soon but I would like to know others opinions....I want to run them cause they are more efficient than a/b class and should run cooler and not kill my stock electrical system..

I got 2 of the USA 700T or T700 ..whatever they are...havnt got them installed yet...wont be able to for a couple more weeks... I wanted to use them cause they were efficient and wouldnt kill my electrical system... wondered if anyone had some and wanted to know how they sound..... I have 2 identical with the spacer to join them so they look like one big amp.... thanks Mike
