  1. I have the DDX8019 with the Navi. It works great for me, what did you want to know about it specifically?
  2. Does another 25W/per ch really matter to you that much?
  3. Nothing but Zapco DC Reference in my 350Z .
  4. I'd probably go with two FI Q 10's in .5-.6 cubes each, but a Q 12 in 1.2 cu ft should sound good for sq as well.
  5. Sundown 100.4 good and pretty cheap.
  6. Dual 2 ohm would give you a 1 ohm load when run in parallel so stick with that.
  7. The Scanspeak 9500 is an awesome tweet. Smooth frequency response up to 20kHz.
  8. How much you got to spend?
  9. Are you sure a 8" would even fit in a factory door? I know for sure it will not fit in my 350Z. The problem in my door is the mounting depth of the woofer. The magnet may end up hitting your window when you roll them down.
  10. That'd be great but tell me where you can get AA Havoc 10's.
  11. I'd say go with either 10's or 12's from Fi (specifically the Q) or JL Audio W6v2.
  12. Personally, I'd have to go with the Rockford. The power series are some good amps. They are also underrated.
  13. I got a single set of Zapco Ref 5 1/4" separates running full active with only 50Wx4 and I bet I could make your ears hurt with them. It's not how many speakers it's how you set them up.
  14. Instead of trying to find a head unit or processor that'll do what you want, you could just spend more on amps and get the Zapco DC Reference series which will do all the processing for you. IMO they are the easiest amps to go full active with.
  15. If all you're doing is integrating a sub into the stock sound system, just throw a JL 10W6v2 and a 500W amp and you're good to go. If you go with a 15" and >1000W, the bass is going to completely drown out everything else.
  16. 2 each crossover in glove box 1 each t40001 bd in front of strut bar 1 each RF x3 under strut bar 2 amps total I guess your amps won't fit in the factory sub location? That's where I have my amps. Man do I miss my Z. It's on a boat making the journey from Hawaii to Cali.
  17. A pair of Q12's (with the BP Power option in your case) in a 3.0 cu ft box (website states 1.5 cu ft per sub) should sound good.
  18. Power divided by volts gives you amps. In other words 12000W/12V = 1000A.
  19. Thanks to your post in another thread I went with a Zapco DC360.4 powering a set of Zapco SQ components running full active that sounds fantastic. I'm sure if I sat in my car with a laptop for a few hours I could get it sounding even better.
  20. Personally I like Zapco's. My dealer got me a DC500.1 for less than $400 brand new. I love the way you can configure just about anything through a laptop.
  21. I have one 10" JL W6v2 in my 350z in a 1.5 cu. ft. ported box and it sounds great to me. I'm running a Zapco DC500.1 for power along with a Kinetik HC1400 under the hood. Two 12"s should blow your ears off. I'm rather glad I didn't go with two 10"s as I'd probably be deaf now.
  22. The Kenwood DDX8019 works great. The sound quality is good, the picture is nice, and it's simple enough to use. I especially like the nav because it's based on the Garmin units so it's quite easy to navigate. The only bad thing is that the screen gets full of fingerprints very fast but that's because it is a touchscreen. I got a Zapco DC360.4 powering my Zapco separates running full active and a DC500.1 powering a JL Audio 10W6v2. I never thought the one 10" would be so loud. I guess because my cabin is so small and my car is a hatch (Nissan 350Z). I get very little trunk rattle and the system plays louder than I can stand to listen so I'm happy.
