Soundrive Cables Now in the Store!
As in a custom length not listed on the SSA Store? Yes, I am starting a build and I have an LC7i processor since I would like to keep the factory navigation unit. The processor is going to be located pretty close to the amps and 5' would be a lot of extra wire to try and hide and clean up. If not possible it is OK, I was look at these rca's a while back and liked them, it was going to be either these or Knu rca's.Ever think about making your own??? Or employing Eric to make em for you??I was thinking of buying these and cutting them shorter. I don't really know who Eric

CT Sounds
Not following? Same Shit Different Day. Just another company playing with the same boards. Oh, lol. I tried a search on CT Sounds on the forum just couldn't find an answer. Just people who have them and people who trash talk it. I was basically trying to find out if anyone knew of the changes made. My dealer told me that they are a new model from previous but didn't get to talk much about them.

Well, I'm not bias, of any brand or equipment. Me personally, I'm not a fan of the owner himself. But that's not what we're talking about. If you are only concerned with the product and the product itself, the amps will do rated, as long as you have adequate electrical. I wasn't referring to you when I said about the bashing, I was looking at your comments as to be the most honest. As for the electrical I already have a xs d3100 at the front as replacement. Big 3 done. I may decided on another battery towards the rear but i am undecided so far, need to see about the room I have. What happens when your brand new is dead on arrival and you can't get ahold of someone at CT or they refuse to replace it no charge, then will you blow off the CS part of the company? I'm sure this is why he decided to do strictly dealers. If this case happens I will duke it out with dealer. The local dealer for me is a pretty straight shooter and very reputable.

I am just interested in their amps really. I hear good things about the amps, as far as the costumer service, thats a different story. Not trying to turn this into a bashing thread I was just curious if people know anything about the amps. As far as my plans I am wanting to get the new 2200.1 to push 3 SA 10's.

From what i hear the CT sounds amps have made some new changes. Anyone know of what changes were made to the boards? What are some thoughts on these amps.

power wire
Alright basically answered my questions... Wire is wire as long as it's all copper an true gauge. As far as sky high it was suggested.

Component speaker options
Why lame for factory locations? I seen several people place small mid range speakers in the dash locations. Is this for the ease of the install? What would be ideal locations if factory locations are not that great? For a crossover to really be worth a shit it has to be designed in place with measurements in the locations where the speakers will sit. Obviously there is no 3 way that was designed this way. Manufacturers also cut corners like hell on 3 way crossover components. IF you were putting all the drivers in the kicks maybe, but the crossovers still make me puke.If you run three way do it active or don't bother. Bolting in a set into your stock locations would be a serious waste of money. Could gain way more doing actual install/tuning work than spending $ on the 3 way set. Great info. You total changed my view on a 3way since i am not going to be going completely on SQ. I just want a good sounding speaker. So if I don't want to modify much of anything and keep factory locations then a decent 2way component set will suit just fine to keep everything simple?

Component speaker options
Plan on putting the component sets in factory locations. The tundra has 6x9 in door tweeter in sail panel of door and 3.5 in the dash. If i get a 3 way component i will be putting in factory locations. If i get a 2 way component the i will test to see which sounds better for tweeter placement. Other than that what other suggestions on how to get this done? I am not quite ready to start tearing into the doors just yet.

Component speaker options
So i am looking into a clean sounding component set that could keep up with 3 SA 10's Budget is not a huge matter in this as I was looking at the focal krx3. If I don't have to spend that much and keep everything in factory locations then that would be great. Going in a 2013 tundra. Plan on running them off a CT Sounds 125.2

Sub Options
I was thinking about the SD line but i am not to sure about shallow mounted subs. How well do they perform and will they be relatively as loud as the SA's?
-
Sub Options
So I am looking for a sub that could fit my needs. I need something around a 6" mounting depth as that would give me just over 1.5" of backspacing. I was planning for 4 sa 10's but my box wouldn't allow for it. My max dimensions for the box are 27-H x58-W x9.5-D1 x6.12.5-D2. Any help would be great.

Series X 15's
Yeah sure will... I am wanting to start the construction of the box or at least get a frame idea. I'm thinking i could safely keep the surrounds about 3" away from the rear seat but couldn't know for sure. If flush mounted i think the surround is almost 2" but i really don't know without having these things.
-
Series X 15's
No but don't want to loss the back seat but whats wrong with a little ingenuity. This is will be a walled daily with the ability to still have the seating.
-
Series X 15's
Just curious about a few things. I will be doing 3 of them in a c pillar wall so i am curious about how far would i need to keep the subs surround away from the back seat? Also how much would it have mattered if i got these d2 ohm and have them wired at 1.35ohm powered by 2 AQ2200 strapped together?

What would is there to get corrected about? Kinda curious now

Im looking for something around 7k at 1.34ohms.... I say 1.34 ohms because thats most likely how im going to wire my subs, that or 3ohms

Stersom... Opinions
Thank you i must have over looked that... I was just looking in the store area on the products sold here. They are sold here yes, but i was looking for other opinions... On another note i just did a lot of reading and on random topics and it seems there is a lot of negatives even some coming from you, all in all it seems i will not be making the purchase to this amp. They have fallen down in the past on slow customer service, very slow set up when it comes to shipping orders, very convoluted amp repair set up, subject warranty handling, and the durability of the amplifiers have clearly been in question by a number of people for a number of years. I am not poo pooing on the company, I know they are working on speeding up things. True and i understand just dont want to spend money on a gamble like armykyle is saying... I got the funds ready to do my c pillar wall just if i don't have to spend 1200 to get the power i need from an amp then why should i... The specs do look good though and durability is going to be a high factor in this as my amps may be secured on or close range of the wall...
