  1. A Q 10 in a .5 cube sealed box paired with a Sundown SAE-1000D would be an awesome combo.
  2. Dude you gotta call me the day its gets playing so I can come over and here it.
  3. I only Bassraced it once.... For a song with a note 10hz off, after like 30-40 mins of demoing for people in 120degfree heat, it only Bassraced a 151.1. With favorable conditions Id put money on it Bassracing a 154... Maybe a low 155. Keep in mind that would be below 40hz. Its all gone, waiting for my car to sell to do something way louder.
  4. If I wasnt doing the setup I got planned, Id run some of these.
  5. And whats that supposed to mean?
  6. You need a 6.0GPA to be on the team. Study up, we dont want dumb people! Hahaha just jokin!
  7. Or just come down to Daytona and chill with everyone down here. Hopefully Ill have everything ready for SBN. Ill be needing to buy 4 more 1500Ds..... I think 12 SAZ-1500Ds should do ok. And ear muffs? You want some high heels and nail polish to go with them? Hahahahahah Looks crazy dude.
  8. If its a 4 door, do subs up, port back. If its a 2 door, do subs up, port up.
  9. Heard one tonight... Wow. The owner was Toby from T&J Elite Customs in Oldsmar, FL. Was in an Escalade, probably an 04 or so. Was a SAZ-3000D running a Critical Mass 5000 in a box that was around 3 cubes tuned to 38hz. SAX-100.2 on the Critical Mass comp set. Entire system was 1 12, 2 6.5s, and 2 tweeters. Those components screamed! They sounded great, and blended perfectly. The sub was probably the best sounding woofer Ive ever heard. Couldnt even tell there was a sub, you would think it was actually a bass drum. As good as it sounded, he metered it and it was right at 144.xdbs on the Termlab, legal. He is a Sundown dealer and was playing with the 3000D and hooked it up to a DMM and said he just about crapped himself when he was seeing the numbers on the DMM. First time hearing a 3000D, and it didnt dissapoint. It was beating the hell out of that 12 and putting out some seriously clean sound. The 100.2 was making the Comp set scream. The Critical Mass UL12 has had alot of hype, and lived up to every bit of it. Anyway, heres the pics I took.
  10. I always thought SSD was Scott Sucks Dick! Hhahaha Jk man!
  11. Gotcha man. Ill let you know.
  12. Wheres the cheapest you have seen them online? I might be interested in running those for my upcoming build if the price is right.
  13. If you got the cash, the SAZ-1500D is where its at, but if you dont wanna spend as much cash, the Clarion DPX11500 is a killer amp too!
  14. Thanks man, real soon things are about to get just flat out rediculous.
  15. Give ported a shot. A ported box around 1.5 cubic feet tuned low with about 20in^ of port should be a good bit louder. If you dont like it you can always try something else.
  16. Im not goin for sealed because of the SQ.... Thats just a bonus.
  17. why has eminence and such crap blown up around there? that is the true question Because we like our music loud? And at 156dBs sonic quality and tonal accuracy isnt whats on your mind. Keeping your lungs inflated is the main concern.
  18. Definately wanna see some videos. That would make a nice Bassracer for the 149.9 class.
  19. Shouldnt be too long, but when you're waiting for a sub like that, it will seem like forever, trust me! When you get it and have to double check to make sure the magnet will fit through the cutout, you'll realize the wait was worth it.
  20. Man, I want my cones to be like that! And if theres a dude that will do anything to help ya out, its Scott. When I had my BTLs and all the problems, he was there every step of the way. Thats the reason why Fi has blown up so big around here.
  21. Yeah, that video blew up! Its insane its on the first 9 pages of Google and everyone is askin me where to get those subs! Ha! I love it! Around here, all you hear is loud sealed people! chit, Johns van with the 16 SSDs is RETARDED loud. With those new amps I cant even belive it. He always has a ton of the Fi cards with the sub models that he hands out during demos and sometimes you see one or two blowing around the cab. I dont got your number, Scott. PM it to me and give me a time and a day to call and Ill call ya. I cant wait to start this setup. I really wanna run the SSDs, even if it means that I gotta save up a little bit longer. Im alot better that I was a week ago, and way better than I was 2 weeks ago from the back surgery, and Im about to go back to work. I dont care when it gets done as long as Im bumpin at SBN. I really wanna do something with your subs, whether its a demo car with the new AA line to get word out on those since noone has really dont anything with the Arsenals yet, or whether its the SSDs. 24 SSD 15s and 12 SAZ-1500Ds all sealed up would be quite the daily driver/demo car. If I get the SSDs Im going to need a huge ass Fi vinyl on my car... Im talkin like 5' x 2'. Black Express van lowered on some black rims with a huge Fi symbol on it would be sick. Dude, you have no idea how I am excited to get this goin!
  22. Awesome dude! That clamshell looks EXACTLY like mine except it had 4 BTL 18s. Thats some real clean work you did there. You'll love it!
  23. With 4,000rms a sub, definately go with a smaller box and less port. Look for something around a 10 cubic foot common chamber plus about 120in^ of port area tuned to whatever you want. Id suggest anywhere between 30-40hz, depending on where your car peaks.
