What are ya'lls opinion on Panasonic head units??? I can get this model for free from work through reward points.

If your are looking at home theater, don't waste your money on a home-theater-in-a-box; start with a decent brand receiver, a bookshelf based system, and a decent sub. I'm selling some surround speakers (no sub) that will play well on an A/V receiver. Pioneer is good; shop around locally for the same/similar model (Pioneer Elite). Or, even a Denon...

I swear... ...worry about loud stereos; but, don't do a damn thing about about REAL crime. :thumbsdown:

One time I was in Myer Emco (think Tweeter), and a mouse got into the showroom (perhaps it came in the install bay, through the door to the store)... ...salesguys and customers where trying to catch it; one guy was trying to use his ballcap! I knew better than to touch it; I instructed them and we got it out the front door. It went down the sidewalk and climbed up the wall; it stayed halfway up for a little bit.

Some people do... I don't care if they use cheap wire/cable; I hate it when they even suggest to use ugly brown lamp cord on $12K piano finish B&W's (example) What do you consider "average"??? (and please don't say "home-theater-in-a-box"!)

Isn't a show car about the LOOK of the car??? ...I would put in whatever looks the best.

You left a ton out... B&K, Outlaw, Rotel, Cambridge Audio, Paradigm, PSB, Totem, Pro-Ject, Music Hall, etc...

If you're low on cash, consider a two channel set-up instead of cutting corners on a multi-channel set-up...
