i actualy live 30 mins west of Toronto in Milton, and i was wondering if anyone near here has an SPL meeter...i wanna see were i stand before the comp on may 11...ive never been meetered before. thanks guys

Agreed. Using the existing plug and drilling is simpler and saves having to locate boots BUT be very very careful of your other wiring as stated.Too late but thanks guys. Ended up drilling through the doors and using gromets. Took the whole car apart, seats out doors off everything. Didn't anticipate this much work, but better do it right the first time I guess

Hey guys, just recently bought a 2 channel and am now wiring or trying to wire it. i have come to the point of putting the speaker wire to the speakers. but i have come across a little issue. you see all the previous wiring is connected to the driver and passenger door by a single clip. there is no other opening in the door. and theres no room to slide my speaker wire in there. so how do i get the new wire into the door? the only way i see is to drill a couple holes. what do u guys usualy do?

thanks bro. yea speaker wire is 12G OFC but speakers are located 1 in the front door and 1 in the trunk so it would even be easier to do seperate wiring. Na Zdrowie Kolego!

Hey guys. bought myself a new toy as some of you may know. now that its here and i have a little bit of time i want to install it but i havent done anything like it before so i have a few questions to shoot at u guys. all my speakers are single 4ohm and i will be wiring the amp at 2 ohms. she gives out 260rms per channel according to the birth sheet. The remote wire on the back of my HU is already hooked up to my T1000 so instead of having another wire sticking out from there wouldnt it just be better to stick a 3 foot wire out of the T1000 remote plug in into the T400 remote plug in? 2. my HU is bolted into place and im not sure if i will ever be running a 4 channel. would anything happen if i pluged in 2 sets of RCA's in the HU and only used one? one suggestion i heard was to plug em both in and just electrical tape the not used ones (sticky side out). 3. When u have nightmares about ur sub and box being destroyed after crossing the border and having the guard profusely push on my sub and try and rip open my box......it took a lot out of me not to get out of my car and go back there

i wouldnt go by the shipping weight and what it says on their website, they can be off by quite a bit either way
