You have a few options. As others said, looking for a used D2 is always an option; there are a few buzzing around on forums every so often. You can sit tight and wait for a bit for the new drivers to get cranked out. Or you can go with a Brahma, which is an awesome driver in its own right.

Well...the driver is yours to do with as you choose. Keep in mind, though, that warranty won't cover you melting the voice coil. 2500W RMS in a ported enclosure daily is an obscene amount for any driver. I would recommend against it simply because I don't want to see a driver die that doesn't have to. Run two if you're worried about output.
