I'm sorry to have to ask because I know that you guys get enough of these ?'s as it is because you've already sent me a quote for the 15" kits but I think I'm going to stay with 12's. So here it is again. I have two 12" eclipse tc9 subs. I'd like to keep the baskets. The motors are the ones with the dual 3/4 in. slugs. I would also like to know if I can get the cones that resemble the Havocs? I still have the spider spacers and everything that goes to the original subs if that helps you out any. Can you also provide an estmated rms rating for these soft parts too. Thanks again Parker I was trying to send as a pm instead of a thread but all of your guys in boxes are full.
  7. I still wonder that. Probably because power handling has little to do with price and original engineering is expensive. Yeah the origianl engineering is expensive but as many W7's as they've sold it wouldn't hurt to drop the price a little now.

Does it sound good inside the car? I put my Alpine type X 10's in my gf's 02 LS and the trunks sound like crap when turned up and it wasn't that loud inside vs the same setup in my mustang.
  9. How do you like it...?

You won't be dissapointed, when I had mine hooked up it surprised me everytime I turned it up.
  13. 89? but on a more serious note I'd like to play around w/ one if u decide to sell them at this price.

What's clipping? The audio signal your sending your subs is causing the subs to overheat\play distortion. You are smelling hot glue but it could also be caused by excessive glue on the coils. Just use a dmm to adjust the gains on your amp that way you know that everything is adjusted properly and if the sub still smell just keep playing them at a safe level and the glue should burn itself out. I've also found out by playing with my type x's that if theres not enough port area that it caused my subs to smell also so you should recheck your port tuning aswell.
