  1. I've just seen quite a few boxes that seem to get loud with the aero ports. I want to try something different for my new subs
  2. Okay I'm looking to upgrade from the SA-12's to the new Z12's. I'm going to be powering them with a SAZ-3500D. My concern is designing a new enclosure. I have a slot ported enclosure (3.5 cubes tuned to 32Hz) I would like a ported enclosure using aero ports. My current enclosure measures 36" x 19" x 17". I would like to keep it around that size, any ideas would be appreciated
  3. I would tune it a little lower (between 30-35Hz)
  4. Maybe it's time for a new box in the Camry
  5. Okay there are a few specs for the Z12 V.2 that I haven't found that I need, mounting depth, power handling and price
  6. There is always a critic/hater somewhere. F--k it I'll say it, I don't care, I just want to hear this thing once it's done. I don't own a rex, have never owned a rex so I don't know the in's and out's but what I do know is that with the mad scientist of SPL behind the scene, this rex should be outrageous.
  7. I may buy 2 more just to have a spare set
  8. Just a quick update, after burping a 142.3 with this box (on about 950 watts) I tried a new enclosure, it 's nowhere near as loud as what BJ built. Thanks again
  9. I can has one?
  10. I may because I'm leaning towards the Z-12's
  11. LOL is your spoiler functional? Yes, it has the LED brake light, I'm working on tightening it down.
  12. No inside rattle, yet but I may be upgrading again soon so I'll just watch it. I'm not a "competitor" so it's not that big of a deal, just don't want to lose my Spoiler.
  13. That is hilarious. What isn't wrong with RD Audio should be the question. Products are decent but customer service is absolutely horrible. I have (2) 12" paperweights in my basement right now because of Really Disappointing Audio.
  14. What I've learned in the last year is that some of the best brands are known by very few people (Props to J. Fuller & Sundown Audio)
  15. It measures 36 x 19 x 16, don't know port length or any of that. Fisher Customs built it so BJ could tell you.
  16. I have 2 SA-12's in this box and am curious if I could use it for the Z-12's? It's 3.5 cubes tuned to 30Hz.
  17. I need to dampen it but I haven't decided what to use, a friend of mine swears by Peel N Seal
  18. Okay here's video #2, this time around I have the Sundown SAZ-1500D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaAf70h0rPU
  19. It's always better to have more power than not enough and as far a birth sheets, I never go by them anyway because those aren't accurate for real world usage.
  20. He's taking a break, I believe I have the last project that he's working on until further notice
  21. I run (2) of the SA-12's with a 1500D and I have nothing but praise for what Jacob has designed. My enclosure is ported but I can't imagine the difference being that drastic so I would definitely go with the SA-12's
  22. I love my SAZ-1500D but my spoiler doesn't
  23. Vids? WE LOOOOVVVEEE Vids. Hopefully this works, forgive the quality this is my first one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGaWvPAhlEQ
  24. Well I can't wait to put some Sundown power to these things and watch my spoiler fly away
  25. Well if you just load the dylithium crystals into the space modulator I'm sure everything will be just fine. J/k actually that would be like asking the Colonel for his secret blend of herbs and spices for his chicken.
