Well I ask this question on another forum and I guess to must be too tough or too stupid to answer. I can not find any info relating to this. I am about to include a AudioControl DQXS into my system. I will be running my front stage (MB Quarts QSD 216) active off a Sundown Audio 100.4 amp. I'm new to running "Active" so here's what I don't completely understand... Gain Settings. I have read and understand the input/output level setting procedures for the DQXS. What about the gain settings on the amp? Quote from the manual.... "Now adjust the output level control until the "2 volt" or "5 volt" light starts to flicker. You will want the output voltage to match up to your amplifier
That is great to see. I would be honored to be the last of your eBay buyers Even better knowing that I bought from the manufacturer of these great amps. I never have bought a refurb item but if THE MAN says it's OK then I feel better. Thanks, Jim
I am looking for a SQ amp for my surrounds. I have heard nothing but great things about your amps. The SAX-100.4 on eBay is more than my present speakers can take. I can control that with gain combined with the use of an AudioControl DQXS. My question is about the Sound Quality. I just want to ensure myself that this amp is about SQ and not SPL. My finger is itching to hit that BUY button but I only have the funds to do this once.
Just wanted to say "Howdy Folks" At the Ripe Old Age of 45 I'm just getting back into the world of modern day audio. After the required "Lurking Stage" I have found this board to be a wealth of information combined with friendliest members. Now that I'm done sucking up........
