Why not run 16V batteries of your choice and a externally regulated alternator with a stepdown box for your car?

Heat rises and there are usually more heat problems with mounting the heatsink on bottem. But these amps run so cool for me I wouldn't worry.

Drilling and tapping aluminum isn't that hard. I would reapply heatsink compound.

Amazing results. Were these numbers with peak and hold? Just wondering. The DBdrive 2000d is a great amp so being louder than 2 is something to be proud of.
