  1. Thats correct. Run the coils on each sub in series then parallel both subs to the pair of strapped amps. If they are dual 2s then each amp will see 1ohm. Thanks allot mayne! Wiring and installation has always come easy to me but this amp strapping has really threw me for a loop hahah
  2. Ok so I talked to my buddy and your right... Each amp will see 1ohm for a final load of .5 strapped But when I ordered everything from Jacob I told him I want to run 2 Nightshades on 2 3000Ds strapped BUT keep them under warranty... So im all confused now lol. This strapping thing is crazy. EDIT: Ok. If I wire each dual 2 ohm nightshade to 4 ohms each, then strap the amps together for a 2ohm load. Does that sound right to get the full power out of the amps?
  3. The pic without the negative terminals on the sub was just to show the positive from each amp going to the sub. It's not meant to be a pic of the sub. Just the amps wiring... That
  4. My drawing is kinda hard to understand... Can anyone answer me this question? When you strap 2 amps you set the phase on the Master amp at 0 and the slave at 180 right?
  5. Sure did. Like I said. Just double checking my work...
  6. it does not make any sence when i look at it. Are you saying its wrong or you dont know?

  11. 3000 is over kill for 1 BL but not for 2 Q18s when you set it up correctly! Keep the Yellow Flop up front and throw a 100Ah+battery by the amp and your good. But remember, the more reserve power the better!
  12. Awaiting on some vids... Very nice setup mayne. Going to have to let us know how they compare to the MTs
  13. I say no on the Solo X 4 sure! I hear too many bad stories about them. But those were "STORIES" so who knows. The Warhorse is supposed to be very efficient but the Maxximus is allot cheaper. If money is nothing to you go with the Kicker amp. Kicker seems to ALWAYS make a solid amplifier. Just my $0.02
  14. HAHA Good one!
  15. Fi and there tinsel problems
  16. What he needs, is to meter on the Dash and see what he gets. X2. That's a good score at the kick but I want to see an official dB Drag score. Sealed at the dash
  17. No problem mayne. And thanks. Keep updated and you might be seeing ALLOT of Sundown equipment in there very shortly
  18. 95% of the time, the port on the driver side posts higher numbers when on the legal TL mic at the dash.
  19. Sounds sufficient to me. The MLA module will be a big help also!
  20. I say BS! I have been running my system at 15.4 volts for some time now. 200A alternator, all Kicker 1/0, 2 Kinetik 2400s and Optima Yellow Top. Not a single problem!!! I am in the process of rebuilding my system and have taken my Kinetiks out and are sitting next to me in my room. They have been sitting here for 3 weeks chillen and are still holding a 12.89 voltage.
  21. Very nice mayne!!!
  22. HAHA. It's nice to have room to work with. But my SUV costs allot in gas
