  2. you might want to note Jacob that you can only look his up because he is a team member
  3. I notice mine will start to buzz if Im clipping
  4. ya get a fuse rack or build one I havent done a meca show in some years ....i could give it try ...just to see what i could do ...lol..lol... if you decide to get serious build an AGU fuse rack go with like 25-30 fuses if not more
  5. Just on amp fusing - he was in the higher MECA classes that don't run limited fusing - X1 and Modex 3 IIRC. you guys need to build a huge rack of the glass fuses if you can find enough room the more fuses the better
  6. was that on a fuse pack or just the 300 amp fuses the amps require
  7. Im sure Jacob has more than enough Im sure he wouldnt put this long of a sale on unless he had enough

  10. and no those are not 8s think smaller
  11. also after weighing my options Ive decided to change subs so Im going from the planned SD-1 V1 12s to
  12. ya I looked at alot of areas and just running the wire under the truck seemed to be the safest bet since I could easily guarantee that when I drilled I wasnt going to go through anything that I didnt want to
  13. the groundpounders seem to be decent subs for the price its definatly not the Crunch of a couple years ago

well obviously he dosent cause the amps dont get that hot I push my amps to the limit and they only ever get warm
  20. On an 02 there is already a grommeted hole you can use for the power wire. Easiest vehicle I have ever run power wire through the firewall on in fact. ah I didnt see it I saw a few grommits but they appeared to be up way too high doing it this way eliminates the problem I thaught I could possably have of being able to tell that there is a wire under the flooring. honestly my 2005 cavalier was pretty easy there is a huge grommit right around the steering column I fit at one time a total of 6 runs through there
  21. OK as many of you fellow Silverado owners know its pretty much impossable to run power wire through the firewall well I just found this out so instead of using the 1/0g wire like I planned to I went up and picked up a tsunami power wire kit and some flex loom and ran it under the truck.
  22. the doors will probably need deadened Ive got a gallon of SS sludge that Im going to put on the rear deck of the car and Ill probably have enough left to do the doors. alot of the work is going to be cleaning it up my Dad had it till a few months ago and he used it as a work truck if you cant tell by all the dirt it didnt get cleaned up very often so its alot of work for me fortunatly Im not allergic to it I just dont like the looks of it
  23. so Ive been workin on my daily driver and what will probably be my tow vehicle if needed today. the plans are Eclipse CD3100 Image Dynamics CTX6.5 coax speakers Sundown audio SAX-100.4 and a pair of Sundown audio SD-1 V1 12s of corse the coaxs and subs are going to be ran off the 100.4 CD3100 installed coaxs installed Ive still gotta run the 1/0g wire and hook up the 100.4 tomorrow before work also Ive still gotta build the box for the subs too and the truck needs a major clean up Ill probably end up steam cleaning the seats and cleaning up the vynal flooring its got in it. the flooring will probably get trashed and swapped out for carpet late this year or early next year
