Id have to agree I was at a comp yesterday had my gains set to a soft clip wit an oscope then for a 2nd run I jacked my gains up to about half way and all I managed to do was clip the piss out of the sub and loose DBs

ya on both amps if you turn it to 180 one sub would be out of phase so you would have cancelation

I believe this issue was discussed a wile back and jacob said that you had to run y adapters the BR out is 180 degrees out of phase

ya 4 should you might even try a 3000D on em they are sold as a pair with the 1000D

yep when I was testing tast week after several burps and a couple car off and voltage dropping to about 11.5 vots on those couple run my 3000d wasnt even warm mind you its ran at 1/2 ohm daily

if he hasnt said whos car it was in I doubt he will show pics. is it still untouched or has he worked on it a bit? I know the pics I saw of it looked like it needed a bit of work on it

mabe something about automotive electrical repair. you might also try callin a custom shop that builds like hot rods and such they may have some advice
