Help Gaining SPL In My SUV
We tested every scenario there is in there and sub back port back was loudest. Sub up port back with his two 15s did not do well at all. Using a single sub setup for testing port back was louder than port to the side. Sub back was louder than sub up. Sub to the passenger side & port back did well but won't work for his setup with two 15s. His current box does better facing up but only when it's about 15" or so away from the hatch. Slide the box back against the hatch (still with subs & port up) and the TL #s drop like a rock.

SAZ-3500D Pre-Order v.2
I recommend at least a 200a alternator, good group34 battery under the hood, and a good group31 battery in the back for this amp.

12v or 16v
Jacob was seeing 2600watts from an saz-1500d on 16v.

information on strapping 2 saz-3000d's
You say each sub is wired to 2ohms but then what. Are both subs wired parallel?

SAE-1200D at 2 ohms?

SAZ-2000D Pre-Sale OPEN
ok thanks. my question to you is do u think two yellowtops will be sufficent enough for me? -SAZ-2000D -stock alt. 100-120 amp (original..about 98,000 miles) -big 3 1/0 or should i go with the XS. I want those but $700 for the 2400 and 3100 is a little much of a stretch for me A pair of g31s will work fine for you.

dual 1 ohm or dual 2 ohm, for a saz-1500d?
It's a monoblock and not bridgeable. Monoblock means only one channel. Mono = one. It has two sets of speaker outputs for easy connection of multiple subs. Get a dual 2ohm sub and wire the coils parallel to a 1ohm load.

The g31s were great solid batteries. I don't recommend anything smaller. Don't waste your time with the smaller d34/35/75. Since we have limits in battery quantity I've since switched to the better Xs Power d3100s but in our comp vehicles that don't have battery limits we still run the g31 YellowTops.

X8 Projected Pricing
Sweet price! I guess the only important thing now is how soon can everyone get some.

200a alternator, g31 Optima YellowTop under the hood, and a g31 Optima YellowTop in the back. This setup was a little overkill for this amp even with it @ 0.5ohm. Never ever saw voltage drop below 12.9v even during full tilt burps @ 0.5ohm.

Patience is a magnet for tracking #s. Be calm & cool and it'll pop up out of nowhere.

He was doing that on purpose just to be aggrivating. We had talked earlier about stuff like this.

SAZ-2000D / SAZ-1000D Orders
I had you send that amp up to Greg yesterday afternoon. I told him it would go out after lunch & I'd email him the tracking info. Then my wife & I went to town to do some stuff. He calls me about 3:45pm like "Did the amp go out already? Where's my tracking #?"

The best vid I got of his truck was the burp vid. He didn't play any music with a good bass line to shoot any good vids. I'm gonna have to introduce Paul to Gorilla Zoe.

4x Sundown SA-12s On Music - VIDEO
And they just keep getting louder. Jacob hit a legal 153 at today's comp with the four SA-12s powered by a pair of saz-1500s. He also hit a 155.6 hardcore with the mic in the kick and door open. Vids are uploading so look for them later.

12x Sundown SA-12s !
I got home a little bit ago from a comp today where Paul hit 155.1db @ 35hz with this setup. I have a few vids of his truck including his 155.1db run. The most impressive thing of the night was when he was demoing some music and made the sensors red light during Bass Race eliminations from 25ft or so away. The sensor inside Walt's sealed car was reading 122db from 25ft or so away from Paul's truck playing music.
