  1. indeed my friend...indeed
  2. what enclosure size would you recommend for the Konaki hybrid?? Nevermind...didn't see that they were dual 1 ohm. All I have is a Nine.1 so .5 ohm isn't an option
  3. I think I remember hearing about the Adire Brahma cone being strong enough to support a person. Strong ass cone anyways..damn
  4. You would get better output and sound quality with a custom enclosure for a new subwoofer....then just wire it up to the amp. Make sure the load is safe
  5. Either way...Elemental Designs has a horrible warranty and horrible customer service. I'm never going to recommend them again. dog poo > elemental designs
  6. so on the shivaX the spider/former joint will hit the basket before the former reaches the backplate??
  7. the SQ10s may say IB capable but 50 watts is enough to put the former to the back plate. I've never buying or supporting eD again...F U C K them and there crappy warranty that they won't back up.
  8. Postal Service has some songs that beat pretty good
  9. awesome...I am thinking about getting a shivaX next for my HT sub...I was thinking about a transmission line. My bose surround sound sucks
  10. how much older is she than you?? Good looking future mrs though
  11. How long the cap lasts on a 2000 watt amp depends on the size of the cap...a 1F cap would be discharged in milliseconds which would do nothing
  12. I like my 19Ov.2 and Nine.1 Its just bullsh!t they won't back up their warranty
  13. I did start a topic...Ben's only reply was Then everyone else who has SQ10s came in and started to defend eD. I don't see how the spider/cone joint would fail first since the joint was in perfect condition but the former was bent up. fudge it...I'm tired of trying to get my chit warrantied over there. In the emails back and forth with Alex he keeps telling me that the sub is still not warrantied basically because I used the recommended box specs and power.
  14. it also depends on the delivery, if you can properly execute the line it will work.
  15. I've been emailing them for the past week telling them that they should warranty this since I used "speced enclosure" and "spec power requirements"
  16. t-line...32hz tuning. Slams and sounds awesome all together. Kills the old ported 2.5 @ 30Hz
  17. depends...its a good way to break the ice.
  18. My friend has two of the older mojos...tough as hell subs and actually don't sound too bad for an SPL sub. Only downside was he had three subs replaced because the dustcaps kept exploding
  19. This happened a week after installation...brand new sub.
  20. Well I thought it could handle the power mechanically considering the enclosure was smaller than the "ideal" size of 1/2 cu ft.
  21. IMO the sub shouldn't be rated for more than 150 watts. I sent the sub in to eD...recone and shipping back is $42 So much for their "awesome" 5 year warranty with the recommended size enclosure and power according to the "power chart"
  22. its a shallow mount sub Elemental Designs SQ10, .4 cu ft sealed enclosure downfiring, JBLCS200.1
  23. Keep the sub setting at +15 and properly set your gain. Then turn the sub down. Now you can exceed where the amp is set at
  24. former was bent from bottoming out. I set the amp up with a tone with no audible clipping. I know what clipping sounds like when playing a tone. I backed off from clipping. I am not stupid when it comes to installing electronics. Guess what company this is though??
